DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to begin a brand new program and partner with Sara Boulter Photography . In this fun\, hands-on three-week photography class\, students will learn how to take photos that stand out! We’ll explore the basics of composition\, lighting\, storytelling\, and creative techniques that make everyday photos look amazing. Whether they’re using a camera or a smartphone\, students will gain practical skills\, complete fun photo challenges\, and build confidence behind the lens. Only 10 spots available for this program\, sign up today! \nDates : Tuesdays Oct 6\, 13\, 27 \nGrades: 4-8 \n Time: 3:30-4:30 PM \nLocation :  Held onsite afterschool at Wallace Stegner SLC campus \nCost: $50 standard ticket/$20 scholarship ticket (see below) \nWhat to Bring:\n– Water bottle\, a cellphone with a camera (if you have one)\, a camera (if you have one) \nWe have 8 Canon Cameras that may be used for this program. If you have a camera and would like to use your own\, please bring it. Other lessons will include taking photos with a cell phone. Our cell phone policy will still be place and we will only utilize the camera function during the program. \n  \nScholarship Availability:  We want to provide the opportunity for as many students as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. SUMMARY:One-Day Wheels and Parkour Class at Midway Elementary
DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a one-day Woodward sports program for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program (GO&P) at Midway Elementary. \nDates: Tuesday\, October 6 from 3:30 to 4:30pm \nLocation: Midway Elementary playground \nThis special one-day session is designed to give kids the opportunity to “taste” the wheel sports and parkour programs available at Woodward (skateboards/scooters). \nStudents will need a helmet if they have one and if they have knee/elbow pads. Woodward will bring scooters and skateboards to borrow but students are welcome to bring their own. \nRegistration closes on Tuesday\, September 28th \nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Chaperone tickets are available at a reduced cost. Chaperones will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration.
