DESCRIPTION:This ski & snowboard program in partnership with Ski Utah at Solitude Resort gives youth the opportunity to begin or continue to learn and develop skiing skills alongside their peers. This is for students who attend the Kearns campus of Wallace Stegner.  \nGrades: 3-6th \nDates: Tuesdays Jan 5\, 12\, 19\, 26 \nTime: 1:30-3:30 on snow (pick up will be around 12:30 during school hours. Students who want to participate must have good attendance\, behavior\, and current on their grades per school administration direction.) \nVenue: Solitude \nTransportation is provided for this program for students attending Wallace Stegner- Kearns campus (4590 South 5600 West\, West Valley\, UT. 84120) \nWaiver information: Please use the link provided below to access and sign Solitude’s waiver\, which is embedded in the registration ticket.  This MUST be done in order to participate: Solitude WAIVER \nScholarships: Deadline is November 18 \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually on free/reduced lunch. Please select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child. You do not need to apply for a scholarship. This ticket is a reduced price from the standard ticket and includes equipment.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship\, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.\n\nChaperones: \nWe do need 2 parent chaperones each week to help with our program. You must be willing to attend all 4 weeks of the program\, have a background check and complete our volunteer agreement. In return\, your student will participate in the program for FREE! Please choose a chaperone ticket below for your student (do not buy a ticket for an adult).  \nIMPORTANT NOTES \n\nWe will ski regardless of the weather\, so no refunds will be given for bad weather\, or once the program begins.\n\nSupport for participants with disabilities: If your child needs support from Wasatch Adaptive Sports\, please contact the WAS program staff at 801-834-0476 or programs@wasatchadaptivesports.org \n\n\nIllness: Please do not send your child to the program if they are home from school due to illness\, were sent home or picked up early from school because they were not feeling well\, or are experiencing symptoms of illness on the day of the program. If your child arrives at the program and tells their instructor they are not feeling well or begins exhibiting symptoms of illness\, they will not be able to participate that day. You will be contacted and asked to pick up your child. \nCancellation Policy:  The Youth Sports Alliance does not issue refunds after the registration deadline. Refunds requested before the deadline will incur a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations due to medical reasons may be considered prior to the program start date\, with a $25 administrative fee applied. No refunds will be given due to weather.

SUMMARY:GO&P Ski & Snowboard at Powder Mountain-Monticello Academy West Point
DESCRIPTION:This ski & snowboard program in partnership with Ski Utah at Powder Mountain Resort gives youth the opportunity to begin or continue to learn and develop skiing skills alongside their peers. The program is based on the unique partnerships we have built with our local resorts\, and utilizes their talented ski instructors. This program is only for 4th grade at Monticello Academy -West Point campus. Parents please choose “Pay by Check” at checkout as the school will be covering the costs of registration.  \nGrades: 4 \nDates: Tuesdays in January  5\, 12\, 19\, 26 \nTime: 2:00-4:00 (on snow) \nCost: $185/$50 scholarship — Your ticket covers the lift ticket\, lessons\, and transportation.  \nEquipment*: Students will need skis\, boots\,  warm clothing\, coat\, gloves\, ski goggles\, ski pants\, etc…  \nWaiver: You must fill out the online waiver HERE otherwise your student can not participate. Please fill out the waiver and then return to submit your student’s registration. \nTransportation is provided for this program from Monticello Academy-West Point campus only. Pick up will be during school hours around 1 PM and return drop off at 5 PM \nScholarships: Deadline is November 18th  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually.
