DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a 4-week intro to breaking (breakdancing) program with Breakin Circles for 6-12th graders as part of the ACTIV8 Program. \nDates: Mondays from 1:30 to 2:30pm on Feb. 23\, Mar. 2\, 9\, 16 \nLocation: Timpanogos Middle School \nStudents will learn the basics of breaking\, including; floor work\, top rock\, and freezes.  Our focus will be on providing a fun safe environment where kids feel confident as they learn both the movement and history of breaking. No dance experience needed. \nScholarship Availability:  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. We focus on building a good foundation in weight training with an emphasis on form. Not only do we have fun while building self esteem but also stamina. \nTransportation is not provided. DESCRIPTION:Important\, due to the terrain your child must be an intermediate level and capable of blue runs. \nFreestyle introduction for skiers and snowboarders in our terrain parks includes park etiquette\, transitions\, and small features; accessed from our moving carpet conveyor. Advanced freestyle students learn tricks on rails\, jumps and in the halfpipe following safe progressions and will move frequently between chair access zones and moving carpet conveyer access zone.  All students learn from our professional Woodward coaches and use our progessive terrain parks. \nDates: Wednesdays Feb 25\, March 4\, 11\,18 \nTimes: 4:15-6:00pm \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually.
