SUMMARY:GO&P Introduction to Jazz & Hip Hop\, Grades 1st - 5th Trailside & McPolin
DESCRIPTION:Join the Summit Dance Project (SDP) for this 4 week session of jazz and hip hop dance. This is an introductory class and is for beginning students\, grades 1st – 5th\, who have little\, or no dance experience.  Under the guidance of SDP Company dancers\, students will learn basic techniques in these fun and energetic dance styles\, and use them to create combinations that they will perform on the last day of class. \nDates: Fridays October 11\, 25\, Nov 8\, 15 \nTime: 1:15 – 3:00pm \nLocation: Summit Dance Project Studios \nTransportation is now provided for this program from Trailside and McPolin. \nCost: \n\nScholarship ticket $20\nStandard ticket $85\n\nNo refunds will be given once registration closes\, except under extenuating circumstances. \nPartial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50\,000 annually but less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. We welcome beginners and experienced players for this fun introduction to water polo. All that is needed is a swimsuit and towel. See you at the pool! \n– Program is run by Park City Water Polo Coach and former USA National team member Heather Flynn along with other current coaches and varsity high school players. \nPlease note that there is NO TRANSPORTATION for this program.

SUMMARY:GO&P Ice Skating November 2024
DESCRIPTION:Whether your child is skating for the first time\, or has skated multiple times\, this is a great introductory program to many different aspects of skating. The first week will focus on the basic concepts of skating\, falling and how to get up. Kids will be divided up into groups and rotate through different stations that will teach specific skill sets\, play games and allow for “free skate” time.  Each of the following weeks will  focus on a specific type of skating\, including figure skating\, hockey and speed skating (or other fun activities). \nThere will always be something different to challenge the kids\, regardless of ability (with the exception of the highly skilled skater.) Keep in mind that that this program also focuses on “Fun On Ice” to get the kids out on the ice skating and having a good time with their friends. This program is not intended to be a supplement to strict club training. \nDates: Fridays Nov 22 Dec 6 & 13\, 20 \nTimes: 1:30pm – 2:45pm (Time on ice\, does not include transportation to and from school). \nLocation: Park City Ice Arena \nTransportation is provided. Students from Silver Summit Academy and Telos Classical Academy may ride the bus from Trailside Elementary School. Students from Park City Day School may ride the bus from Jeremy Ranch Elementary School. \nWe are looking for a Program Coordinator for each of the schools. Volunteers who are the coordinator for all 4 weeks of the program will receive a significant discount on the program fees for 1 child registered in the program. Interested individuals please choose the chaperone ticket. \nPartial Scholarships Available! We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs.
