SUMMARY:GOAP South Summit- Woodward Indoor Acro/Parkour or Wheeled Sports 2025
DESCRIPTION:Experience all the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class facility including trampolines and parkour\, or skateboarding\, scooter and BMX riding.  Students can choose to participate in either acro (trampolines and parkour) or wheeled-sports (skateboarding\, scooter\, or BMX) with Woodward coaches.  All abilities welcome. \nVolunteers will be needed in order to provide transportation: A volunteer for Lead Chaperone will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please select the lead chaperone ticket or contact jjohnson@ywsa.org with questions. This person will need to ride the bus each week. An additional bus chaperone may be needed to assist the lead each week if we have more than 20 students. We can offer a second discounted chaperone ticket if there are two people able to chaperone for all four sessions. \nThis program is for grades 1st-4th. \nDates: March 7\, 21\, 28\, April 11; 2:45-4:15 pm \nTransportation is provided. The bus will leave South Summit Elementary about 2:15 and arrive back at the school for pick up around 4:45pm. \nRegistration will close March 2\, 2025. \nScholarships:  \n\nScholarship ticket: This ticket is available for families earning less than $50\,000 annually or on free or reduced lunch program. Select a scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship\, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.\n\n

USA Olympic teams have been on the podium for the last 7 Olympics (6x women and 2x men)! Welcome to both boys and girls\, grades 1st-8th – no swimming experience necessary. We welcome beginners and experienced players for this fun introduction to water polo. All that is needed is a swimsuit and towel. See you at the pool! \n– Program is run by Park City Water Polo Coach and former USA National team member Heather Flynn along with other current coaches and varsity high school players. \nPlease note that there is NO TRANSPORTATION for this program.

DESCRIPTION:Learn to Speedskate with Park City Speedskating!\nReady to experience the thrill of gliding across the ice at top speed? Join Park City Speedskating’s “Learn to Speedskate” program at the PCIA on March 28th\, and April 4th and 11th.\nThis program is perfect for beginners of all ages and skill levels who want to learn the fundamentals of speed skating. Our experienced coaching staff will guide you through proper technique\, safety\, and basic skills to get you moving quickly and confidently on the ice.\nLearn from the best! Our coaching team includes:\n\nNat Mills: 3-time Olympian and former 1000m US record holder.\nBrian Boudreau: Multi-time age group National Champion and Masters age group World Champion/World Record holder.\nRob Kramer: Multi-time National Champion and former professional marathon skater in Europe.\n\nDon’t miss this opportunity to learn from elite athletes/coaches and discover the exciting world of speed skating! Register today to secure your spot.\nSkates and helmets are supplied at the rink.\nAll participants must wear a helmet\, gloves\, long sleeved shirt\, long pants and knee pads and shin pads are recommended.\nTimes: 1:30pm – 2:45pm (Time on ice\, does not include transportation to and from school). \nLocation: Park City Ice Arena \nTransportation is provided. Students from Silver Summit Academy and Telos Classical Academy may ride the bus from Trailside Elementary School. Students from Park City Day School may ride the bus from Jeremy Ranch Elementary School. \nWe are looking for a Program Coordinator for each of the schools. Volunteers who are the coordinator for all 3 weeks of the program will receive a significant discount on the program fees for 1 child registered in the program. Interested individuals please choose the chaperone ticket. \nPartial Scholarships Available! We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs.
