Nordic combined hooked me because it was just so much fun. I got to launch myself off of ski jumps and then go cross country ski\, run\, and bike with all of my best friends. I love Nordic combined because of all the opportunities it gave me and it helped me become a very well-rounded athlete. SUMMARY:GO&P Wasatch and South Summit Ice Skating Spring 2026\, sponsored by Kodiak
DESCRIPTION:Whether your child is skating for the first time\, or has skated multiple times\, this is a great introductory program to many different aspects of skating. The first week will focus on the basic concepts of skating\, falling and how to get up. Kids will be divided up into groups and rotate through different stations that will teach specific skill sets\, play games and allow for “free skate” time.  Each of the following weeks will  focus on a specific type of skating\, including figure skating\, hockey and speed skating (or other fun activities). \nThere will always be something different to challenge the kids\, regardless of ability (with the exception of the highly skilled skater.) Keep in mind that that this program also focuses on “Fun On Ice” to get the kids out on the ice skating and having a good time with their friends. This program is not intended to be a supplement to strict club training. \nWasatch students: Transportation will be provided for students attending Daniels Canyon\, Heber Valley\, JR Smith\, Midway and Old Mill Elementary schools.  \nSouth Summit students: Transportation is not provided. Parents must arrange their own transportation.
