SUMMARY:ACTiV8 South Summit - Intro to Dog Sledding
DESCRIPTION:Come explore the world of dog sledding and animal rescue at Rancho Luna Lobos! Dana and Fernando will lead students through team building activities and dry-land dog sled rides while teaching them about dog wellness\, feeding and general care. These activities are designed to inspire students to chase their own dreams and give them tools to overcome obstacles. \n*Students will be around a lot of dogs\, and they are quite loud\, so please make sure your child is comfortable in this environment. \nTransportation will be provided! \nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. A volunteer for program chaperone will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please select the program chaperone ticket or contact jjohnson@ywsa.org with questions. This person will need to ride the bus each week and will need to stay at the venue during the session. If purchasing a chaperone ticket\, you must be able to attend all sessions of the program\, complete the volunteer form and pass a background check. SUMMARY:South Summit GOAP Ski/Snowboard & Sport Simulator with Sim Sports
DESCRIPTION:Sim.Sports Ski/Snowboard Simulator training: During this four (4) week program\, participants will work on stretching\, agility\, flexibility and\, of course\, get ready for ski season by shredding on the ski simulators. Class time includes training\, games\, races and individual time on the ski simulator.  Bring your own ski boots or use a pair of loaner boots. \nSim.Sports Golf/Multi-sport Simulator training:  Golf\, football\, soccer\, arcade games and more!! During this four (4) week program\, participants will enjoy a full hour of fun as we work through the different sports offered on the Multi-sport simulator.  No equipment necessary. Sneakers recommended for ball sports. This class does not include training on the ski simulators. \n Transportation is provided from South Summit Elementary for this program.  \nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program.
