DESCRIPTION:This Skiing program in partnership with Ski Utah at Brighton Resorts gives youth the opportunity to begin or continue to learn and develop skiing skills alongside their peers. Students must be at least 7 years old to participate. \nGrades: 3rd-6th Wallace Stegner and homeschool \nDates: December 1\, 8\, 15\, 22 \nTime: 1:30-3:30 \nVenue: Brighton \nCost: $180 \nTransportation is provided for this program. Pick up and drop off at Wallace Stegner-SLC \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship\, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.\n\nEquipment: Equipment is not provided unless on full scholarship. \nWe do need a parent chaperone each week to help out on the trails with the classes.  Please CLICK HERE to volunteer! \nIMPORTANT NOTES \n\nWe will ski regardless of the weather\, so no refunds will be given for bad weather\, or once the program begins.\nStudents with disabilities: please contact Heather Sims \n\nIllness: Please do not send your child  to the class if they are home due to illness\, or were picked up early from school due to illness\, or are exhibiting symptoms of illness the days of the program. If your child comes to the program and tells their instructor that they do not feel well\, or is exhibiting symptoms of not feeling well\, they will not be able to participate in the class for that day and you will be called to come pick them up.
