SUMMARY:GO&P Wasatch Learn to Ski/Snowboard 2026 Epic Promise\, Sponsored by Kodiak
DESCRIPTION:This is a program for Wasatch students 1st-5th graders and is for those who have never skied/snowboarded to beginners. If you did this program last year\, please consider signing up for the GOAP Wasatch Woodward Program. \nThe Get Out & Play Alpine Skiing/Snowboarding programs give kids the opportunity to begin skiing and snowboarding alongside their peers. The program is based on the unique partnerships we have built with our local resorts and utilizes their talented ski instructors. This program takes place at Park City Mountain Ski Resort. \nThe program begins immediately after school with students gearing up with the help of parent volunteers. Students then board a bus for transport to the ski hill where they will have a two (2) hour ski or snowboard lesson with their instructor. \nDates: Mondays Jan. 12\, 26\, Feb 2\, 9; (no class on Jan. 19) \nTime: 3:00-6:30pm \nProgram Fee:  $185 \nThe program fee includes transportation\, lift ticket\, and instruction. Equipment is not provided or covered under the program fee. \nTransportation is provided: \nWasatch- Parents/guardians will drop off their children 3:00pm at the South Field Park parking lot on 100 S in Heber with their gear and in their snow clothes. Once the lesson is completed\, students are transported back to the South Field parking lot where parents can pick them up around 6:30. \nVolunteers Needed! To make this program happen affordably\, we need parent volunteers for a School Coordinator position and as bus chaperones. Volunteers for School Coordinator will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please select the School Coordinator ticket. All volunteers will need to complete a volunteer form and background check. The link for the background check will be sent after the form is filled out. South Summit bus chaperone positions will only be needed if the coordinator tickets are not sold. Wasatch bus chaperone positions can be viewed HERE. Participants should already be able to turn and stop independently and are ready to gain more control\, consistency\, and confidence on the mountain. Lessons may include terrain park exposure. \nThis is not a beginner program. Beginners should register for the GO&P Wasatch Learn to Ski/Snowboard 2026 program. \nProgram Details \n\nDates: Mondays\, Jan. 12\, 26\, Feb 2\, 9; (no class on Jan. 19)\nTime: 3:00-6:30pm (Class runs from 4:00 – 6:00 pm)\nAge: 1st-5th grades\nVenue: Woodward Park City\nSkill Level: Lessons are designed for skiers and snowboarders already able to turn and stop independently.\nTransportation: Bus transportation is provided to and from Woodward Park City. DESCRIPTION:Join us welcoming home our 2026 Olympic and Paralympic athletes! \nBe at the Top of Main Brew Pub parking lot at the top of Swede Alley at 4:30pm. Parade starts at 5:00pm sharp. (Park at the High School and catch public transport to the Transit Center)\, please make sure you leave enough time. \nStudents will walk down Main Street and finish at the corner of Main and 7th Street.  Parents should determine a meeting spot or walk with their children in the parade; we anticipate the parade will end 5:20-5:30. Join the festivities after the parade with a presentation on Lower Main 5:30-6:00 with autographs 6:00-7:00. \nPlease note the Youth Sports Alliance is not responsible for your child during the walk down Main Street\, Park City in the parade.

DESCRIPTION:The YSA is excited to offer a four-week golf skills program for 1st-5th graders at Rising Heights and Soldier Hollow Charter School as part of the Get Out and Play Program. \nDates: Fridays\, Oct. 23\, 30  Nov 6\, 13 \nTime: 2:00-3:00 pm \nLocation: The Golf Lodge (520 N Main St\, Suite B\, Heber City\, UT 84032) \nThe staff at The Golf Lodge is ready to bring your Junior Golfer to the next level. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn from the best! These clinics are perfect for beginner or advanced golfers. New skills will be taught and current skills will be built upon. Don’t miss your chance to learn and develop your golfing skills! \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at Soldier Hollow Golf Course. \nRequired Equipment \n\nShoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing (including a hat\, jacket and sunglasses)\nWater Bottle\n\nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50\,000 annually but less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. DESCRIPTION:Registration Closes: Sunday\, November 22nd \nThe Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a 4-week intro to breaking (breakdancing) program with Breakin Circles for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out & Play Program. \nDates: Mondays from 2:30 to 3:30pm on November 30\, December 7\, 14 \nLocation: Midway Elementary School \nStudents will learn the basics of breaking\, including; floor work\, top rock\, and freezes.  Our focus will be on providing a fun safe environment where kids feel confident as they learn both the movement and history of breaking. No dance experience needed. \nScholarship Availability:  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120\,000 annually\, and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. SUMMARY:GO&P Wasatch Ice Skating at Midway Ice Rink
DESCRIPTION:Registration Closes: Sunday\, November 22nd \nWe’re excited to partner with Midway Ice Rink to offer ice skating classes. Whether your child is skating for the first time\, or has skated multiple times\, this is a great introductory program to ice skating. There will always be something different to challenge the kids\, regardless of ability (with the exception of the highly skilled skater). \nDates: Mondays\, November 30\, December 7\, 14 \nTimes: 3:30pm – 4:30pm \nLocation: Midway Ice Rink \nTransportation is not provided \nIMPORTANT NOTES \n\nWe will skate regardless of the weather\, unless the Midway Ice Rink closes their hill\, and no refunds will be available for bad weather.\nEquipment\, Skate rentals\, are included.\n\nChaperone: We are looking for one adult volunteer to chaperone for all 3 weeks of the program.
