SUMMARY:One Day Lift Served Mountain Bike Class for Intermediate and Advanced Riders
DESCRIPTION:Looking to improve your Mountain Bike skills? Come experience the lift served Deer Valley trails with coaching provided by the Deer Valley staff. This program will only be for intermediate to advanced riders (familiar with riding lift-served flow trails) between the ages of 10-14yrs old\, must be comfortable with trails like Pulp Friction\, Rusty Shovel in Round Valley. Work on skills like cornering\, braking and jumps in a safe fun environment. Limited spots available. \nAll registrants must complete the online waiver\, click here to complete and choose Summer Activities. \n\n\n\n\nIntermediate\nComfortable at slower speeds on blue technical and flow trails with roots\, loose rocks and single tracks\, while retaining balance\, changing gears and braking instinctively. Looking to learn how to drop and jump safely and continuing to explore more advanced terrain.\n\n\n\nAdvanced\nComfortable on all blue technical and flow trails\, while retaining balance\, changing gears and braking instinctively at higher speeds on steeper\, more challenging terrain. Has significant mileage on black technical and flow trails with jumps and drops. Working on improving technique on black jumps and technical features.\n\n\n\nExpert\nProficient on all black technical and flow jump trails. Very experienced\, dynamic biker. Able to ride all trails confidently and quickly\, while retaining balance\, changing gears and braking instinctively at high speeds on steeper\, more difficult terrain. SUMMARY:Intro to Paddleboarding
DESCRIPTION:Come out and try stand up paddle boarding with Wasatch Whitewater on Jordanelle Reservoir! This introductory session is geared towards understanding the basics of standup paddleboarding. A good foundation of skills and knowledge of equipment will help to set you up correctly for a successful paddling career. SUMMARY:ACTiV8 Intro to Avalanche Safety with BRASS
DESCRIPTION:Come learn about basic avalanche safety education with the BRASS 101 program. Hosted by Youth Sports Alliance\, this BRASS sponsored program is for 6th grade and up and filled with potentially life-saving information. This 90-minute program will introduce you to the basics of avalanches and risk mitigation. The curriculum is presented by certified avalanche instructor and local legend\, Craig Gordon. \n\nBasic snow science showing how the conditions for an avalanche can take shape\nRed flags that could indicate elevated avalanche danger\nMitigating risk: accessing and interpreting avalanche forecasts\, selecting good terrain\nMaking good decisions\nSafe travel rituals when moving through avalanche terrain\nOpportunities for further education\n\nOur goal is to provide you with a basic understanding of the risks you can encounter\, and how to mitigate that risk. SUMMARY:ACTiV8 Tubing Day for North Summit at Woodward
DESCRIPTION:This special one-day session is designed to give kids the opportunity to go tubing at Woodward with friends from their own school. Tube rental is included in the registration fee. \nTransportation is provided to and from the event. Pickup and drop off will be at North Summit Middle School. \nDate: December 15\, 2026 \nTimes: 3:15-5:00pm (bus will pick up at 2:30 and return to NSMS around 5:30pm) \nVolunteers:  Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Program Chaperone tickets are available at a reduced cost. Program Chaperones will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration.
