SUMMARY:Wasatch and North/South Summit - ACTIV8 and Get Out & Play UOP Nordic Jumping Sponsored by Kodiak
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT! Skiers must be at a MINIMUM of an intermediate level to participate in this program (i.e.\, must be able to parallel ski on blue runs or above). \nThis is an introductory course that takes place at the Utah Olympic Park (UOP) for students in grades 3rd-7th who are intermediate skiers and looking to learn how to nordic jump. Students will be introduced to nordic jumping through instruction provided by Park City Ski and Snowboard (PCSS). Skiers will spend their time on our small nordic jumps and progress from the landing hill of the smallest jump (10M) and have opportunities to progress to the 10M\, 20M and even 40M ski jump. This program can be done on any alpine skis (poles are not used).  \nProgram fee: $180; $140 without transportation \nThe program fee includes UOP pass\, instruction and transportation \nDates: Mondays\, Feb. 24\, Mar. 3\, 10\, 17 \nTime: 3:30 – 5pm  \nGrades: 3rd-7th \nTransportation:  \nWasatch – Parents/Guardians will drop off students at the Southfield parking lot (by the skatepark) to meet the chaperones to go up to the UOP by bus at 2:45pm and pick up in the Southfield parking lot at 5:30pm. \nNorth Summit/ South Summit- transportation will not be provided. Please select the ticket without transportation.  \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship\, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.\n\nSibling Discount: Sponsored by Kodiak – If you have more than one child participating in this program\, first register one with a standard ticket\, then use the coupon code found at the end of the standard ticket registration to register your additional child(ren). \nUOP Waiver: Please complete the UOP waiver either during or after you’ve finished the registration process at the following link:  Utah Olympic Park Waiver. Your child will not be able to participate until the UOP waiver has been completed. \nVolunteers Needed! To make this program happen affordably\, we need parent volunteers for a School Coordinator position and as bus chaperones.
