SUMMARY:GO&P Ice Skating March 2026 sponsored by Kodiak
DESCRIPTION:Whether your child is skating for the first time\, or has skated multiple times\, this is a great introductory program to many different aspects of skating. The first week will focus on the basic concepts of skating\, falling and how to get up. Kids will be divided up into groups and rotate through different stations that will teach specific skill sets\, play games and allow for “free skate” time.  Each of the following weeks will  focus on a specific type of skating\, including figure skating\, hockey and speed skating (or other fun activities). \nThere will always be something different to challenge the kids\, regardless of ability (with the exception of the highly skilled skater.) Keep in mind that that this program also focuses on “Fun On Ice” to get the kids out on the ice skating and having a good time with their friends. This program is not intended to be a supplement to strict club training. \nDates: Fridays March 6\, 13 27\, April 3 \nTimes: 1:30pm – 2:45pm (Time on ice\, does not include transportation to and from school). \nLocation: Park City Ice Arena \nTransportation is provided.  \nVolunteers: \nOur programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. DESCRIPTION:Join us welcoming home our 2026 Olympic and Paralympic athletes! \nBe at the Top of Main Brew Pub parking lot at the top of Swede Alley at 4:30pm. Parade starts at 5:00pm sharp. (Park at the High School and catch public transport to the Transit Center)\, please make sure you leave enough time. \nStudents will walk down Main Street and finish at the corner of Main and 7th Street.  Parents should determine a meeting spot or walk with their children in the parade; we anticipate the parade will end 5:20-5:30. Join the festivities after the parade with a presentation on Lower Main 5:30-6:00 with autographs 6:00-7:00. \nPlease note the Youth Sports Alliance is not responsible for your child during the walk down Main Street\, Park City in the parade.

DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance\, Lindsey Vonn Foundation\, and Winter Sports School are excited to once again partner for Grit & Guidance\, an interactive workshop designed to help students build confidence\, resilience\, and leadership skills both on and off the field of play.  Grounded in the Lindsey Vonn Foundation’s social-emotional learning curriculum\, participants will engage in hands-on activities\, small-group discussions\, and guided reflection as they explore what it means to navigate challenges\, persevere through setbacks\, build healthy relationships\, and lead with confidence. Each workshop is co-facilitated by Lindsey Vonn Foundation Youth Ambassadors and Winter Sports School student mentors\, creating a supportive\, near-peer environment where students can learn from young leaders with shared experiences.  To better support students at different developmental stages\, this year’s workshops will be offered as two separate sessions:  Grades 3–5 | October 2 | 3:15–5:00 PM & Grades 6–8 | October 9 | 3:15–5:00 PM.  All participants will receive a welcome bag and a guided reflection journal to continue building confidence\, resilience\, and leadership beyond the workshop.\n\nPartial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. Each workshop is co-facilitated by Lindsey Vonn Foundation Youth Ambassadors and Winter Sports School student mentors\, creating a supportive\, near-peer environment where students can learn from young leaders with shared experiences.  To better support students at different developmental stages\, this year’s workshops will be offered as two separate sessions:  Grades 3–5 | October 2 | 3:15–5:00 PM & Grades 6–8 | October 9 | 3:15–5:00 PM.  All participants will receive a welcome bag and a guided reflection journal to continue building confidence\, resilience\, and leadership beyond the workshop.\n\nPartial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. SUMMARY:GO&P Ski & Snowboard or Golf Simulator with Sim Sports
DESCRIPTION:Sim.Sports Ski Simulator training Over 4 weeks\, work on stretching\, agility\, flexibility and of course get ready for ski season by shredding on our ski simulators. Class time includes training\, games\, races and individual time on the ski simulator.  Bring your own ski boots or use our loaner boots.   Sim.Sports Golf/Multi-sport Simulator training  Golf\, football\, soccer\, arcade games and more!! Over 4 weeks\, join the game and enjoy a full hour of fun as we work through the different sports offered on the Multi-sport simulator.  No equipment necessary. Sneakers recommended for ball sports. SUMMARY:GO&P Ice Skating
DESCRIPTION:Whether your child is skating for the first time\, or has skated multiple times\, this is a great introductory program to many different aspects of skating. The first week will focus on the basic concepts of skating\, falling and how to get up. Kids will be divided up into groups and rotate through different stations that will teach specific skill sets\, play games and allow for “free skate” time.  Each of the following weeks will  focus on a specific type of skating\, including figure skating\, hockey and speed skating (or other fun activities). \nThere will always be something different to challenge the kids\, regardless of ability (with the exception of the highly skilled skater.) Keep in mind that that this program also focuses on “Fun On Ice” to get the kids out on the ice skating and having a good time with their friends. This program is not intended to be a supplement to strict club training. \nDates: November 20\, December 4\, 11\, and 18th \nTimes: 1:30pm – 2:45pm (Time on ice\, does not include transportation to and from school). \nLocation: Park City Ice Arena \nTransportation is provided.  \nVolunteers:  Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program.
