SUMMARY:GOAP NAC Multi-Sport Program for South Summit
DESCRIPTION:Join us for three weeks of fun\, friendship\, and skill-building through inclusive programming at the National Ability Center. All skill levels are welcome! This program is open to 1st – 4th grade kids with and without disabilities—providing opportunities for community\, connection\, and belonging. Students will participate in a session of archery\, a session of indoor climbing and a session of cycling (bikes will be provided). \nClose-toed shoes are required for all activities. Waivers for participation will be sent by the NAC once registration is closed. The waiver is a two step process\, so please make sure to verify your email after filling out the waiver. \n*Registration will close Aug. 30\, 2026 at 11:30pm.  \nTransportation will be provided for this program from South Summit Elementary as long as we have a parent chaperone.  \nDates: September 11\, 18 & 25 2026 \nTime: 2-4 pm. Program runs at the NAC 2:30-3:30 pm. \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship\, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.\n\nVolunteers: \nOur programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. SUMMARY:GO&P & ACTIV8 Introduction to Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:Dates – Sept 11\, 18\, 25 and Oct 2 \nTimes – 3:00-4:00pm \nDoes your child want to learn more about the multi-sport of Triathlon? Triathlon teaches self discipline\, confidence and healthy lifestyles. \nThis 4 week session meets at the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse\, and is geared toward kids who know the basics of swimming\, biking and running but want to improve their skills and feel more confident with each discipline. Cycling will be on both paved and gravel paths\, so mountain bikes are preferred. Transportation NOT Provided. \nTo participate\, your child must be able to: \n\nSwim 25 yards without water wings or a life jacket\nRide a bike without training wheels\nRun\n\nOur programs cannot run without the help of our volunteers.  If you are able to help\, please sign up here: Triathlon Volunteer Sign-Up  \nPlease note when agreeing to the terms and conditions you are agreeing to the following waivers. \nYSA & Basin Recreation Waiver \nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. SUMMARY:GOAP North Summit- Woodward Indoor Multi Sport
DESCRIPTION:Experience all the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class facility including trampolines and parkour or skateboarding\, scootering and BMX riding.  Students can choose to participate in either acro (trampolines and parkour) or wheeled-sports (skateboard\, scooter\, or BMX) with professional Woodward coaches. Students will receive some structured coaching and some free time to practice their new skills.  All abilities welcome\, though this program is geared towards beginner to immediate levels.  \nTransportation is provided. The bus will leave North Summit Elementary about 2:15 and arrive back at the school for pick up around 4:45pm. \nVolunteers will be needed in order to provide transportation: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. A volunteer for program chaperone will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please select the program chaperone ticket or contact jjohnson@ywsa.org with questions. This person will need to ride the bus each week and will need to stay at Woodward during the session. An additional bus chaperone may be needed to assist the lead if we have more than 20 students. We can offer a second discounted chaperone ticket in this case if there are two people able to chaperone for all four sessions.
