SUMMARY:GO&P South/North Summit Mountain Biking for Grades 3-5 sponsored by Kodiak
DESCRIPTION:The YSA has teamed up with Young Riders to offer mountain biking for 3rd-4th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program. This 4-week program covers beginner single track trails\, climbing\, descending\, obstacles and safety on the trails of Round Valley. This program is for participants who are getting comfortable on double check and working towards single track trails. Students should already know how to ride a bike and have ridden double track trails. \nDates: May 1\, 8\, 15\, 29 \nTimes: 3:45-5:45 pm \nLocation: Quinn’s Junction\, Park City \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at Quinn’s Junction – park in the lot on Gillmor Way at Quinn’s Junction\, Park City. This program will happen rain or shine unless there is lightening\, and there will be no refunds for bad weather. \nRiders will need the following: \n\nBike\nHelmet (required\, your child will not be allowed to ride without a helmet)\nShoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\nProtective eye wear (sunglasses are best)\nCycling gloves – recommended\n\nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50\,000 annually but less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship.
