DESCRIPTION:This Skiing program in partnership with Ski Utah at Solitude Resort gives youth the opportunity to begin or continue to learn and develop skiing skills alongside their peers. Students must be at least 7 years old to participate. \nThe ACTiV8 Skiing program at Solitude Resort gives students the opportunity to begin or continue to learn skiing skills alongside their peers. \nGrades: 3-6th Wallace Stegner -Kearns and Homeschool \nDates: January 8\, 15\, 22\, 29 2026 \nTime: 1:30-3:30 \nVenue: Solitude \nTransportation is provided for this program for students attending Wallace Stegner- Kearns campus  \nWaiver information: Please use the link provided below to access and sign Solitude’s waiver\, which is embedded in the registration ticket.  This MUST be done in order to participate: Solitude WAIVER \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship\, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.\nEquipment is provided only for those students on full scholarship\n\nWe do need a parent chaperone each week to help out on the trails with the classes. Chaperone’s student gets to participate in the program for free. Please CLICK HERE to volunteer and choose a chaperone ticket below! \nIMPORTANT NOTES \n\nWe will ski regardless of the weather\, so no refunds will be given for bad weather\, or once the program begins.

We’re a feeder program for the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation.  \nUOP Waiver MANDATORY- UOP Sliding- https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/e/MsWviN6XaKjbR9cwy3nWRM/ \nEquipment: The Utah Olympic Park will provide skeleton sleds\, helmets and elbow pads. YOU will need to bring clothes to slide in: Lower body- spandex tights\, sweats or track pants preferably with tapered legs. Upper body-outer layer sweatshirt that is somewhat abrasion resistant\, without hood and not too baggy-basically clothes that can get damaged. NO EXPOSED SKIN.
