Please contact Amanda (801-400-5044 or amanda@ysausa.org) to be added to the waitlist. \nWe’re excited to offer a kids CrossFit class at Midway Elementary School! \nDates: Mondays\, November 27th\, March 6th\, 20th and 27th \nTime: 2:30-3:30pm \nIron Backs Youth program provides kids with physical activity in a fun and engaging format. The goals of the program are to have the children learn the points-of-performance of foundational movements that have universal application through a strength and conditioning workout performed at a high intensity level; Functional movements are actions that you perform in your day-to-day life\, like squatting\, pulling\, pushing etc. Many workouts feature variations of squats\, push-ups\, and weight lifting that last for predetermined amounts of time to help build muscle\, develop motor recruitment pathways\, and ensure safe and efficient movement now and into the future. \nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50\,000 annually but less than $100\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. DESCRIPTION:Week 1\nMondayFeb 27th2:30-5:30pm\nWeek 2\nMondayMar 6th2:30-5:30pm\nWeek 3\nMondayMar 20th2:30-5:30pm\nWeek 4\nMondayMar 27th2:30-5:30pm\nTickets are sold out. Contact Amanda at 801-400-5044 or amanda@ysausa.org to be added to the waitlist. \nExperience all the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class indoor facility including trampolines\, parkour\, skateboarding\, scooter and BMX riding. Students rotate through the sports with professional Woodward coaches. All abilities welcome. \nTransportation is provided. \nDates: Monday\, February 27\, March 6\, 20\, and 27 \nTime: 2:30- 5:30pm (The bus will pick up students from Daniels Canyon Elementary School and Old Mill Elementary School) \nProgram Fee:  $180 \nThe Program Fee includes transportation and instruction. \nStudents will meet parent/gaurdian volunteers after school in a specified area. Students then board a bus for transport to Woodward where they will have a lesson with their instructor. Once the lesson is completed\, students are transported back to Old Mill and Daniels Canyon elementary schools where parents/gaurdians will pick them up. \nThe entire program is parent supported and chaperoned\, so please do your best to assist! To make this program happen affordably we need parent volunteers. Volunteers for Lead School Coordinator will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Other volunteer positions include Bus Chaperones.
