DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a four-week introduction to boxing program with Rise Boxing for 6th-12th graders as part of the ACTIV8 Program. \nDates: Monday\, October 30\, November 6\, 13\, and 20 1:30-2:30 pm \nLocation: Rocky Mountain Middle School \nStudents will learn the fundamentals of boxing in a supportive and encouraging environment through 4 weeks of 1 hour sessions. The session will cover footwork\, punching technique\, combinations\, rules of boxing and application of the sport. Students will develop skills in a non-contact environment that will give them an understanding of the sweet science. Students will get to see the discipline and skill required for boxing in a safe and controlled environment and will develop a base level of skill over the course of the session. \nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration.
