SUMMARY:ACTiV8 Beginner Mountain Biking Fridays with Basin Recreation
DESCRIPTION:Mountain Biking for Ecker Hill/Silver Summit and Homeschoolers \nDates: September 11\, 19\, 25\, and October 2 \nTimes: 1:45-3:45 pm \n\nWe have teamed up with Basin Recreation to offer mountain biking programs for Beginner to Intermediate Riders. Every  rider will learn safety\, trail etiquette\, ascending\, descending\, obstacles and some tips on how to get to the top. This program leaves directly from the Ecker Hill school grounds and will happen rain or shine. \nIf you do not own a bike and would like to participate in this program please contact Heather Sims \nRequired equipment\n\n\nBike\nHelmet (compulsory your child will not be allowed to ride without one)\nShoes and Socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\nProtective eye wear (sunglasses are best)\nCycling glove\n\nPartial Scholarships Available!\nWe want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. SUMMARY:ACTIV8 Lift Served Enduro/Progressive Mountain Bike Camp at Woodward 2026
DESCRIPTION:Looking to level up your Mountain Bike skills? Come ride the Woodward Mountain Park with an experienced MTB Coach and an emphasis on improving your skills. This program will be for intermediate to advanced riders (familiar with riding lift-served flow trails) only between the ages of 11-15yrs old. Work on skills like cornering\, braking and jumps in a safe fun environment. \nTransportation and equipment is not provided for this program. \nDates: September 11\, 18\, 25 and October 2nd \nTime: 3:15-4:45pm \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship\, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.\n\nVolunteers: Chaperones will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration. SUMMARY:Grit & Guidance: A Confidence\, Leadership & Resilience Workshop with Lindsey Vonn Foundation and Winter Sports School for Grades 3-5
DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance\, Lindsey Vonn Foundation\, and Winter Sports School are excited to once again partner for Grit & Guidance\, an interactive workshop designed to help students build confidence\, resilience\, and leadership skills both on and off the field of play.  Grounded in the Lindsey Vonn Foundation’s social-emotional learning curriculum\, participants will engage in hands-on activities\, small-group discussions\, and guided reflection as they explore what it means to navigate challenges\, persevere through setbacks\, build healthy relationships\, and lead with confidence. Each workshop is co-facilitated by Lindsey Vonn Foundation Youth Ambassadors and Winter Sports School student mentors\, creating a supportive\, near-peer environment where students can learn from young leaders with shared experiences.  To better support students at different developmental stages\, this year’s workshops will be offered as two separate sessions:  Grades 3–5 | October 2 | 3:15–5:00 PM & Grades 6–8 | October 9 | 3:15–5:00 PM.  All participants will receive a welcome bag and a guided reflection journal to continue building confidence\, resilience\, and leadership beyond the workshop.\n\nPartial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. DESCRIPTION:Sim.Sports Ski Simulator training Over 4 weeks\, work on stretching\, agility\, flexibility and of course get ready for ski season by shredding on our ski simulators. Class time includes training\, games\, races and individual time on the ski simulator.  Bring your own ski boots or use our loaner boots.   Sim.Sports Golf/Multi-sport Simulator training  Golf\, football\, soccer\, arcade games and more!! Over 4 weeks\, join the game and enjoy a full hour of fun as we work through the different sports offered on the Multi-sport simulator.  No equipment necessary. Sneakers recommended for ball sports.
