DESCRIPTION:The YSA has teamed up with Young Riders to offer mountain biking for 3rd-5th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program. \nDates: September 5th\, 12th\, 19th\, 26th  \nTimes: 1:15 – 3:15pm \nLocation: Quinn’s Junction\, Park City \nThis program is for participants who are beginners on trails\, and not for beginners on bikes\, as students should already know how to ride a bike and may have ridden some trails. \nThis 4-week program covers beginner single track trails\, climbing\, descending\, obstacles and safety on the trails of Round Valley. \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at Quinn’s Junction – park in the lot on Gillmor Way at Quinn’s Junction\, Park City. This program will happen rain or shine\, and there will be no refunds for bad weather. \nRiders will need the following: \n\nBike\nHelmet (required\, your child will not be allowed to ride without a helmet)\nShoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\nProtective eye wear (sunglasses are best)\nCycling gloves – recommended\n\nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. We have teamed up with Young Riders who will be providing the coaching staff. The program covers beginner single track trails\, climbing\, descending\, obstacles and safety on the trails. \nDates: Mondays. Sept. 8\, 15\, 22\, 29 \nTime: 2:30 to 4:30pm \nLocation: Jordanelle Ridge Trail System (often referred to as Coyote) at UVU\, 3111 College Way\, Heber City \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at the Jordanelle Ridge Trail System at UVU. SUMMARY:Grit & Guidance: A Confidence\, Leadership & Resilience Workshop with Lindsey Vonn Foundation and Winter Sports School
DESCRIPTION: The Youth Sports Alliance is excited to partner with the Lindsey Vonn Foundation\, and The Winter Sports School for this inaugural hands-on\, high-energy workshop focused on building confidence\, grit\, and leadership. Through interactive activities\, small group discussions\, and personal reflection\, students will explore what it means to lead with strength\, push through challenges\, and believe in themselves. The workshop will be co-facilitated by Lindsey Vonn Foundation Youth Ambassadors and mentors from the Winter Sports School\, offering a peer-supported space for growth and connection. All are welcome! All participants will receive a small welcome bag. For grades 6th\, 7th & 8th.\n\nPartial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50\,000 annually but less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. SUMMARY:One-Day Wheels and Parkour Class at Heber Valley Elementary
DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a one-day Woodward sports program for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program (GO&P) at Heber Valley Elementary. \nDate: Tuesday\, September 30th from 3:30 to 4:30pm \nLocation: Heber Valley Elementary playground \nThis special one-day session is designed to give kids the opportunity to “taste” the wheel sports and parkour programs available at Woodward (skateboards/scooters). \nStudents will need a helmet if they have one and if they have knee/elbow pads. Woodward will bring scooters and skateboards to borrow but students are welcome to bring their own. \nRegistration closes on Monday\, September 22\, 2025 \nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Chaperone tickets are available at a reduced cost. Chaperones will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration.
