DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to begin a brand new program and partner with Sara Boulter Photography . In this fun\, hands-on four-week photography class\, students will learn how to take photos that stand out! We’ll explore the basics of composition\, lighting\, storytelling\, and creative techniques that make everyday photos look amazing. Whether they’re using a camera or a smartphone\, students will gain practical skills\, complete fun photo challenges\, and build confidence behind the lens. Only 10 spots available for this program\, sign up today! \nDates : Wednesdays  Feb 17\, 24\,  March 3\, 10 \n Time: 12;15-1:15 PM \nGrades: 4-8 \nLocation :  Held onsite afterschool at Monticello Academy \nCost: $60 standard ticket/$20 scholarship ticket (see below) \nWhat to Bring:\n– Water bottle\, a cellphone with a camera (if you have one)\, a camera (if you have one) \nWe have 8 Canon Cameras that may be used for this program. If you have a camera and would like to use your own\, please bring it. Other lessons will include taking photos with a cell phone. SUMMARY:North Summit GOAP Intro & Progression Skiing or Snowboard at Woodward 2027
DESCRIPTION:The Get Out & Play Intro/Progression to skiing or snowboarding program will give kids the opportunity to learn and progress their skiing or snowboarding skills alongside their peers. This program is for those who are brand new to skiing/snowboarding or at a beginner/ beginner-intermediate level. \nThis is a program for North Summit students 1st-4th grade. The program begins immediately after school with students gearing up with the help of their guardian and/or parent volunteers. Students will take YSA provided transportation to Woodward where they will have a two (2) hour lesson with their instructor. Once the lesson is over\, students will be brought back to the school to be picked up. \nDates: Mondays 2/22\, 3/1\, 3/8\, 3/15 2027 \nTime:  2:45-4:45; Transportation will arrive around 2:00pm with an aim to be at Woodward around 2:45pm and return to the school around 5:15 pm. \nProgram Fee:  $185 \nThe program fee includes transportation\, lift ticket\, and instruction. \nRegistration Deadline: Registration will close on Jan. 31\, 2027. Scholarship tickets with equipment will close Nov. 17\, 2026. If you need a scholarship ticket after Nov. 17th\, please contact Jana Johnson. \nVolunteers Needed: \nOur programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Program Chaperone tickets are available at a reduced cost. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration. Rentals are included with scholarship tickets bought by Nov. 17\, 2026 only. \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. DESCRIPTION:Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to partner with the Olympic Oval to offer a new and engaging program: Olympic Experience. Each week\, students will be introduced to a different Olympic sport through hands-on learning and skill development. Along the way\, they will also explore the Olympic Oval’s vision: “To bring to life the Olympic & Paralympic spirit in our youth\, our communities\, and athletes from around the world.”  This program inspires students to embrace the values of teamwork\, perseverance\, excellence\, and sportsmanship while experiencing the excitement of Olympic and Paralympic sports.\n\n\n  \nDates : Wednesdays March 3\, 10\, 17\, 24 \nTime: 12:30-1:30 PM (This program will take place during school hours. Parents will need to sign the waiver and give permission for their student to miss instruction time during the day. Attendance\, grades\, and good behavior will be required to participate in this program and will be monitored by school staff. For this specific program\, discover the excitement of ARCHERY! This four week course teaches the fundamentals of safe and accurate archery. Students will learn proper range safety\, equipment use\, aiming techniques\, arrow release\, and target practice. The course is designed for beginners and provides opportunities to build confidence\, improve focus\, and develop accuracy through guided instruction and hands-on practice.
