DESCRIPTION:Registration Closes Sunday November 15th\, 2026. \nThe YSA is excited to offer a three-week bouldering program at the Fit Stop for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program (GO&P)\, sponsored by Kodiak. \nDates: Mondays Nov 30\, Dec 7 and 14 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm \nLocation: Fit Stop \nChallenge your mind and body while building confidence on the wall! Our Bouldering program teaches climbing movement\, technique\, and problem-solving in a fun\, supportive environment. Climbers will progress at their own pace while developing strength\, balance\, coordination\, and climbing skills through age-appropriate instruction and weekly challenges. \nParticipants will develop: \n\nClimbing technique and body awareness\nStrength\, balance\, and coordination\nProblem-solving and critical thinking\nConfidence and perseverance\nSafe climbing habits and proper gym etiquette\n\nEach age group follows a progression designed for their developmental level\, with fresh activities and climbing challenges to keep every class exciting. Whether your child is brand new to climbing or has experience\, they'll continue building skills while having fun on the wall. No experience is necessary just wear comfortable athletic clothing. \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at the Fit Stop \nRequired Equipment \n\nWaiver\nWater Bottle\nShoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\n\nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Climbers will progress at their own pace while developing strength\, balance\, coordination\, and climbing skills through age-appropriate instruction and weekly challenges. \nParticipants will develop: \n\nClimbing technique and body awareness\nStrength\, balance\, and coordination\nProblem-solving and critical thinking\nConfidence and perseverance\nSafe climbing habits and proper gym etiquette\n\nEach age group follows a progression designed for their developmental level\, with fresh activities and climbing challenges to keep every class exciting.
