SUMMARY:GO&P Park City Beginning Mountain Biking for Grades 3-5
DESCRIPTION:The YSA has teamed up with Young Riders to offer mountain biking for 3rd-5th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program. \nDates: September 13th\, 20th\, 27th and October 4th \nTimes: 1:15 – 3:15pm \nLocation: Quinn’s Junction\, Park City \nThis program is for participants who are beginners on trails\, and not for beginners on bikes\, as students should already know how to ride a bike and may have ridden some trails. \nThis 4-week program covers beginner single track trails\, climbing\, descending\, obstacles and safety on the trails of Round Valley. \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at Quinn’s Junction – park in the lot on Gillmor Way at Quinn’s Junction\, Park City. This program will happen rain or shine\, and there will be no refunds for bad weather. \nRiders will need the following: \n\nBike\nHelmet (required\, your child will not be allowed to ride without a helmet)\nShoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\nProtective eye wear (sunglasses are best)\nCycling gloves – recommended\n\nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a one day opportunity to try roller skiing with Team Soldier Hollow at Rocky Mountain Middle School for 6th-12th graders as part of the ACTIV8 Program. \nDate: Monday\, September 9 from 1:30-2:45 pm \nLocation: Rocky Mountain Middle School \nCome try roller skiing with Team Soldier Hollow! Team SoHo in school Roller Ski Program is designed to get kids outdoors and having fun on skis. If you’re curious about roller skiing and want to learn more\, this is the perfect opportunity. Soldier Hollow will provide all the necessary gear—roller skis\, boots\, helmets\, and poles. Participants will enjoy roller skiing on grass and pavement\, playing games\, and learning fun\, technique-based drills. \nYou must fill out this Soldier Hollow waiver BEFORE the program begins. Your child will not be able to participate until it is completed. This is also a great opportunity for any new or experienced sailors interested in regional sailing team opportunities. \nTransportation is provided from Timpanogos and Rocky Mountain Middle School. Bus will pick up students immediately after school at Timpanogos and then pick up at Rocky Mountain before heading to Jordanelle. \nBus Chaperone: To run this program with transportation we need a parent bus chaperone to meet the students at the school and ride the bus to and from Jordanelle.
