DESCRIPTION:Registration Closes on Sunday Nov 15\, 2026. \nThe YSA is excited to offer a four-week Jump Rope program at the Fit Stop for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program (GO&P)\, sponsored by Kodiak. \nDates: Mondays Nov 30\, Dec 7\, 14 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm \nLocation: Fit Stop \nGet moving\, build confidence\, and have fun! Our Jump Rope class helps kids improve coordination\, agility\, balance\, and cardiovascular fitness through games\, challenges\, and jump rope skills. Whether they're picking up a rope for the first time or learning new tricks\, each class is designed to keep them active\, engaged\, and smiling. \nParticipants will develop: \n\nCoordination and rhythm\nSpeed and agility\nBalance and endurance\nConfidence through skill progression\nTeamwork and encouragement in a positive environment\n\nNo experience is necessary-just bring comfortable athletic shoes\, water\, and a willingness to have fun! Every class offers new challenges and activities to keep kids excited and coming back for more. \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at the Fit Stop \nRequired Equipment \n\nWaiver\nWater Bottle\nShoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\n\nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Chaperone tickets are available at a reduced cost. Chaperones will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child's registration. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration. Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship.
