Students will explore a variety of photography techniques\, including portraiture\, documentary storytelling\, and creative approaches to capturing compelling images with natural lighting. Jonás will share lessons from his travels and professional work\, teaching students how to apply the fundamentals of photography and composition to bring their creative vision to life — no matter what camera they use. DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance is excited to offer a four-week indoor climbing program at the Fit Stop for 6th-12th graders as part of the ACTIV8 program\, sponsored by Kodiak. \nDates: Monday November 24\, December 1\, 8\, 15  from 2:30-3:30 \nLocation: Fit Stop \nThe FitStop youth ACTIV8 program is a wonderful program where students will get to experience the Crag Climbing Wall. Students will learn the basics of climbing techniques as well as learning how to safely climb in an indoor environment. Along with climbing\, they will learn how to tie into harnesses and climb on rope\, climbing technique\, equipment\, safety\, problem solving\, trust\, teamwork\, strength and endurance\, along with so much more. \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at the Fit Stop \nRequired Equipment \n\nWaiver\nWater Bottle\nShoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\n\nRegistration Closes Monday\, November 17th. \nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. DESCRIPTION:  \n \nJoin us for our next Power of Play! Dr Alexander Cohen\, Ph.D.\, CMPC Senior Sport Psychologist United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee will be providing a workshop for coaches on Performance Readiness: Integrating Sport Psychology into Youth Sport Coaching. Dr. Alexander Cohen is a Senior Sport Psychologist at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC). Dr. Cohen provides sport psychology consultation and counseling for national teams\, athletes\, and coaches at the Olympic Training Centers\, at various National Governing Body training sites\, and at national and international competitions. As a licensed psychologist and Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC)\, Dr. Cohen assists coaches in creating supportive performance environments that promote psychological and physical skill acquisition and mastery. He works directly with athletes to maximize Performance Readiness (the ability to focus on the right thing\, at the right time\, every time) through quality preparation\, enhanced resilience\, and mindful self-regulation of awareness and attention. Dr. Cohen resides in Park City\, UT with his wife\, son\, and golden retriever. The workshop will consist of interactive coach exercises; \n\nCreating or destroying some aspect of team/athlete culture or performance\nPerformance Readiness\nSport psychology (motor learning/development\, external attentional focus cueing for skill acquisition and development\, creating constraints-based coaching environments for mastery learning
