DESCRIPTION:Looking to improve your Mountain Bike skills? Come experience the lift served Deer Valley trails with coaching provided by the Deer Valley staff. This program will only be for intermediate to advanced riders (familiar with riding lift-served flow trails) between the ages of 10-14yrs old\, must be comfortable with trails like Pulp Friction\, Rusty Shovel in Round Valley. Work on skills like cornering\, braking and jumps in a safe fun environment. Limited spots available. Registration comes with a FREE full face helmet provided by the 43i Foundation. \nAll registrants must complete the online waiver\, click here to complete and choose Summer Activities. \n\n\n\n\nIntermediate\nComfortable at slower speeds on blue technical and flow trails with roots\, loose rocks and single tracks\, while retaining balance\, changing gears and braking instinctively. Looking to learn how to drop and jump safely and continuing to explore more advanced terrain.\n\n\n\nAdvanced\nComfortable on all blue technical and flow trails\, while retaining balance\, changing gears and braking instinctively at higher speeds on steeper\, more challenging terrain. Has significant mileage on black technical and flow trails with jumps and drops. Working on improving technique on black jumps and technical features.\n\n\n\nExpert\nProficient on all black technical and flow jump trails. Very experienced\, dynamic biker. Able to ride all trails confidently and quickly\, while retaining balance\, changing gears and braking instinctively at high speeds on steeper\, more difficult terrain. Working on gaining experience on double black trails.

Open to new and returning students. Instructors will review sailing basics and expand sailing skills for returning students. This is also a great opportunity for any new or experienced sailors interested in regional sailing team opportunities. \nTransportation is provided from Timpanogos and Rocky Mountain Middle School. Bus will pick up students immediately after school at Timpanogos and then pick up at Rocky Mountain before heading to Jordanelle. \nBus Chaperone: To run this program with transportation we need a parent bus chaperone to meet the students at the school and ride the bus to and from Jordanelle. DESCRIPTION:This program has been moved to the Jordanelle Ridge Trail System (often referred to as Coyote) at UVU\, 3111 College Way\, Heber City. \nThe Youth Sports Alliance is excited to offer a four-week mountain biking program for 3rd-5th graders as part of the Get Out & Play Program. \nDates: Mondays from 4:30 to 6:00pm on April 29\, May 6\, 13\, 20 \nThis program is for participants who are beginners on trails\, and not for beginners on bikes as students should already know how to ride a bike and may have ridden some trails. We have teamed up with Young Riders who will be providing the coaching staff. \nThe program covers beginner single track trails\, climbing\, descending\, obstacles and safety on the trails. \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at Dutch Hollow Trailhead Jordanelle Ridge Trail System at UVU. SUMMARY:GO&P Ice Skating April 2024
DESCRIPTION:Whether your child is skating for the first time\, or has skated multiple times\, this is a great introductory program to many different aspects of skating. The first week will focus on the basic concepts of skating\, falling and how to get up. Kids will be divided up into groups and rotate through different stations that will teach specific skill sets\, play games and allow for “free skate” time.  Each of the following weeks will  focus on a specific type of skating\, including figure skating\, hockey and speed skating (or other fun activities). \nThere will always be something different to challenge the kids\, regardless of ability (with the exception of the highly skilled skater.) Keep in mind that that this program also focuses on “Fun On Ice” to get the kids out on the ice skating and having a good time with their friends. This program is not intended to be a supplement to strict club training. \nDates: April 26\, May 3\, 10\, 17 \nTimes: 1:30pm – 2:45pm (Time on ice\, does not include transportation to and from school). \nLocation: Park City Ice Arena \nTransportation is provided. Students from Silver Summit Academy and Telos Classical Academy may ride the bus from Trailside Elementary School. DESCRIPTION:All-Star Madness – All-Star Madness is for players who want to work on their skills but play a lot of fun games as well. \nAll-Star Madness is a mix of skill work and fun games.  Each class is one hour long.  Players will work on different skills each week and then have an All-Star competition or game that works on those specific skills.Ideal Baller: Players looking for a mix of drills and fun games as opposed to all drills. \nDates: Fridays April 26\, May 3\, 10\, 17 \nTimes 12:40-1:40pm \nPartial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50\,000 annually but less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. SUMMARY:GO&P Woodward Multi-Sport April 2024
DESCRIPTION:Experience all the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class indoor facility including trampolines\, parkour\, skateboarding\, scooter and BMX riding.  Students rotate through the sports with professional Woodward coaches to allow for progression\, students will receive some structured coaching and some free time to practice their new skills\,  all abilities welcome. \nTransportation is provided. Buses will depart the school at 12:30 and arrive back at approximately 3:30pm. \nDates:  Fridays April 26th May 3\, 10\, 17 \nTimes: 1:30-3:00pm \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. DESCRIPTION:Mountain Biking for Treasure/Silver Summit and Homeschoolers \nDates: April 26\, May 3\, 10\, 17 \nWe have teamed up with Basin Recreation to offer mountain biking programs for Beginner to Intermediate Riders. Every  rider will learn safety\, trail etiquette\, ascending\, descending\, obstacles and some tips on how to get to the top.
