DESCRIPTION:Registration Closes: Friday\, November 27 \nThe Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a three-week kids MMA program with Impact Martial Arts for 1st-8th graders as part of the Get Out & Play Program and Activ8. \nDates: Fridays\, December 4\, 11\, 18 \nTime: 12:15pm-1:15pm \nLocation: Solider Hollow Charter School \nKids MMA With Impact Martial Arts: Off of screens and on the mats with focus! Impact Martial Arts is where children learn effective mixed martial arts technique\, with all of the safety\, respect\, character development\, and fun of traditional martial arts! In this program\, we will be taking the best foundational basics from different disciplines (like Karate\, American and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu\, Taekwondo\, Wrestling\, Boxing and Muay Thai) and blending them together for the ULTIMATE bully-proof confidence\, time tested self-defense\, and safe sport. At Impact Martial Arts\, we strive to make a forever impact in the lives of your children and the communities they will go on to shape! \nChaperone: We are looking for one adult volunteer to chaperone for all 3 weeks of the program. Duties include\, assist with taking role and ensure all kids are accounted for during the session. DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited for this brand new program opportunity and to team up with Salt City Swords\, an organization dedicated to teaching fencing and swordsmanship. \nDates : Fridays December 4\, 11\, 18 \nTime: 1:40 – 4:15 (Instruction will be from 2:30-3:30 PM at Salt City Swords) \nLocation :  Salt City Swords – transportation will be provided from Ecker Hill and back \nDiscover the excitement of fencing\, one of the fastest and oldest sports in the Olympics! This four week course will cover the basics of modern-day sword fighting\, including footwork\, blade work\, rules\, etiquette and basic tactics. Students will develop coordination\, confidence\, speed\, and agility while discovering the intricacies of this fascinating sport under the guidance of expert instructors. \nWhat to Bring: Water bottle\, athletic clothing and footwear \nProgram Chaperone:  Our programs cannot run without parent volunteers. DESCRIPTION:The Get Out & Play Alpine Ski and Snowboard program gives kids the opportunity to begin or continue to learn skiing skills alongside their peers. The program is based on the unique partnerships we have built with our local resorts\, and utilizes their talented ski instructors. \nDates: December 8\,10\, 15\, 17 \nTimes: 9am-12pm (pick up at Richardson Flat at 8:30am) \nVenue: Deer Valley \nFor skiers aged  7-12 \nWaivers – online waiver must also be completed. \nTransportation is provided for this program to and from Richardson Flat Park and Ride. There will be no pick up or drop off at the resort. All attendees must ride the provided transportation. \nEarly Bird Program Fee: $220 w/season pass; $245 w/o season pass. The Program Fee includes lift tickets (if your child does not have a season pass) and instruction. Prices increase after November 20th to $240 w/season pass and $265 without a pass. \nScholarships: \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. The sessions are intended for students who want to learn the fundamentals of cross country skiing through games\, drills\, and skiing with peers. \nPlease fill out this waiver. Your child will not be able to participate until it is completed. \nDates: Wednesday\, December 16 and Friday\, December 18 \nTimes: 2:30pm – 5:45pm (students will be at Soldier Hollow from 3:15-5:15pm) \nLocation: Soldier Hollow Nordic Center \nTransportation: This program includes transportation from Timpanogos and Rocky Mountain middle schools and back afterwards.  \nThis program will happen rain or shine\, and there will be no refunds for bad weather. \nChaperones: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Chaperone tickets are available at a reduced cost. Chaperones will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please select the program chaperone ticket. This person will need to ride the bus each week and will need to stay at the venue during the session. This program is for Thriving Day Academy students.  \nProgram Details \nDates: Thursdays\, January 7\, 14\, 21\, 28 and February 4 \nTime: 12:15 pm – 4:30 pm (Class runs from 1:15 pm – 4:00 pm) \nAge: 1st-5th grades \nVenue: Canyons Village at Park City Mountain Resort \nSkill Level: Lessons are designed for beginner to intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Advanced skiers/snowboarders may prefer the UOP or Woodward programs. \nTransportation is provided to and from Thriving Day Academy. *Students must ride the provided transportation to and from the resort\, no drop off or pick up at the resort.* \nRequired Equipment/Gear: skis/snowboard and boots\, helmet\, googles\, water-proof gloves/mittens and proper snow clothing. \nProgram Cost:  \n$220 with a season pass/$245 without a season pass \n$50 scholarship (for students on free and reduced lunch\, includes ski/snowboard rentals) \n$150 sibling (the sibling discount is available only with the purchase of a standard ticket) \nThe fee includes lift tickets (for participants without a season pass)\, instruction\, and transportation. The sessions are intended for students who want to learn the fundamentals of cross country skiing through games\, drills\, and skiing with peers. \nGrades: 1st – 5th \nSession 1 Dates: Jan 8\, 15 & 22nd \nTime: 1:15pm – 3:00pm \n\nBus will leave school at 12:45pm\n\nLocation: White Pine Nordic Center \nTransportation is provided for this program \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. SUMMARY:South Summit GOAP– Learn to Ski/Snowboard at PCM Sponsored by Epic Promise; Mondays 2027
DESCRIPTION:This is a program for South Summit 1st-5th graders and is for those who have never skied/snowboarded to beginners. If you have done this program before\, please consider signing up for the GOAP South Summit Woodward Progression Program. \nThe Get Out & Play Alpine Skiing/Snowboarding programs give kids the opportunity to begin skiing and snowboarding alongside their peers. The program is based on the unique partnerships we have built with our local resorts and utilizes their talented ski instructors. This program takes place at Park City Mountain Ski Resort. \nThe program begins immediately after school with students gearing up with the help of parent volunteers. Students then board a bus for transport to the resort where they will have a two (2) hour ski or snowboard lesson with their instructor. \nDates: Mondays January 11\, 25\, Feb. 1\, 8\, 2027 \nTime: 3:00-6:30pm; Lesson 4-6pm \nProgram Fee:  $185 \nThe program fee includes transportation\, lift ticket\, and instruction. Equipment is not provided or covered under the program fee. \nTransportation will be provided: \nSouth Summit- The bus will leave from South Summit Elementary School. Fifth graders will need to come to the elementary school to meet the bus. Once the lesson is completed\, students are driven back to school where parents can pick them up. Buses/Vans will arrive at the school at 3:00pm with arrival at Woodward around 3:45 and return to school around 6:30pm. \nRegistration Deadline: Scholarship tickets will close Nov. 17\, 2026.
