SUMMARY:GO&P Fall Ice Skating\, Session 1 (Fall 2022)
DESCRIPTION:Whether your child is skating for the first time\, or has skated multiple times\, this is a great introductory program to many different aspects of skating. The first week will focus on the basic concepts of being on skates with different stations teaching specific skill sets\, playing games and allowing for “free skate” time.  The remaining weeks will include a focus on figure skating\, hockey and speed skating (or other fun activities)\, each being spotlighted 1 of the 3 weeks. \nThere will always be something different to challenge the kids\, regardless of ability (with the exception of the highly skilled skater.) Keep in mind that the program is also focusing on “Fun On Ice” to get kids out there\, skating and having a good time with their friends. This program is not intended to be a supplement to strict club training. \nDates: November 18th & December 2nd\, 9th & 16th. \n**There will not be class November 25th because of Thanksgiving break** \nTimes: 1:30pm – 3:00pm \nLocation: Park City Ice Arena \nTransportation is provided\, and we are looking for a Program Coordinator for each school. Program Coordinators receive a significant discount on the program fees\, so please contact Lucy@ysausa.org if you’re able to help. \nPartial Scholarships Available! We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50\,000 annually but less than $100\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e.\, paystubs\, tax forms\, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information. \nWeek 1\nFridayNovember 18th1:30-3:00pm\nIce Skating \nWeek 2\nFridayDecember 2nd1:30-3:00pm\nIce Skating \nWeek 3\nFridayDecember 9th1:30-3:00pm\nHockey Skills \nWeek 4\nFridayDecember 16th1:30-3:00pm\nSpeed Skating
