DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a one-day Woodward sports program for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program (GO&P) at Midway Elementary. \nDate: Tuesday\, October 7\, from 3:30 to 4:30pm \nLocation: Midway Elementary playground \nThis special one-day session is designed to give kids the opportunity to “taste” the wheel sports and parkour programs available at Woodward (skateboards/scooters). \nStudents will need a helmet if they have one and if they have knee/elbow pads. Woodward will bring scooters and skateboards to borrow but students are welcome to bring their own. \nRegistration closes on Thursday\, October 2nd at 9am \nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Chaperone tickets are available at a reduced cost. Chaperones will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration. DESCRIPTION:Come explore the world of dog sledding and animal rescue at Rancho Luna Lobos! Dana and Fernando will lead students through team building activities and dryland dog sled rides while teaching them about dog wellness\, feeding and general care. These activities are designed to inspire students to chase their own dreams and give them tools to overcome obstacles. \n*Students will be around a lot of dogs\, and they are quite loud\, so please make sure your child is comfortable in this environment. \nTransportation will be provided! \nVolunteers: Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. A volunteer for program chaperone will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please select the program chaperone ticket or contact megan@ysausa.org with questions. This person will need to ride the bus each week and will need to stay at the venue during the session. If purchasing a chaperone ticket\, you must be able to attend all sessions of the program\, complete the volunteer form and pass a background check. SUMMARY:ACTiV8 Woodward Multi-Sport Fall 2025
DESCRIPTION:Experience all the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class indoor facility including trampolines\, parkour\, skateboarding\, scooter and BMX riding.  Students will choose Wheeled Sports (skateboarding and scooters) or Acro (parkour and trampolines). Students will receive some structured coaching and some free time to practice their new skills.  All abilities welcome. \nTransportation is not provided.  \nDates:  Fridays October 10\, 17\, 24 \n \nTimes: 3:15-5:00pm \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually.
