DESCRIPTION:Ready to take your mountain biking skills to the next level? Join us at Solitude for expert coaching designed to help young riders build confidence\, improve technique\, and have fun on the trails. This YSA program is for intermediate to advanced riders ages 5th-10th grade (11–15) who are comfortable riding lift-served flow trails. Participants will work with an experienced MTB coach to develop key skills such as cornering\, braking\, jumping\, and trail awareness in a safe\, supportive\, and enjoyable environment. Whether you’re looking to ride faster\, smoother\, or with more confidence\, this program will help you progress your riding and get the most out of your time on the mountain. \nTransportation and equipment is not provided for this program. Utilizing 100% automated safety braking systems (auto-belays)\, students can safely experience healthy\, high-energy\, and confidence-building physical activity in an incredibly fun and completely secure environment. This program is offered to students attending Monticello Academy.  \nDates:Wednesdays Sept 9\, 16\, 23\, 30 \nTimes: 1-2 PM in class; Students will be picked up after school approximately 12:15 and shuttled to the venue. With a lifelong passion for skating that began back in 1977\, Spock built the camp around three core values: Safety\, Fun\, and Learning. Today\, the camp features handpicked\, highly trained instructors who know how to work with kids of all skill levels\, helping them build confidence and improve their skating in a supportive and exciting environment. SUMMARY:GO&P - Olympic Experience at the Olympic Oval - Wallace Stegner Kearns
DESCRIPTION:Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to partner with the Olympic Oval to offer a new and engaging program: Olympic Experience. Each week\, students will be introduced to a different Olympic sport through hands-on learning and skill development. Along the way\, they will also explore the Olympic Oval’s vision: “To bring to life the Olympic & Paralympic spirit in our youth\, our communities\, and athletes from around the world.”  This program inspires students to embrace the values of teamwork\, perseverance\, excellence\, and sportsmanship while experiencing the excitement of Olympic and Paralympic sports.\n\n\n  \nDates : Wednesdays March 3\, 10\, 17\, 24 \nTime: 12:30-1:30 PM (This program will take place during school hours. Parents will need to sign the waiver and give permission for their student to miss instruction time during the day. Attendance\, grades\, and good behavior will be required to participate in this program and will be monitored by school staff. Any missed work will need to be made up.) \nLocation :  Olympic Oval – Transportation will be provided from Wallace Stegner Kearns Campus \nWhat to Bring:  Water bottle\, athletic clothing and footwear (no sandals\, flip flops\, boots\, etc…) \nProgram Chaperone: Our programs cannot run without parent volunteers. If you volunteer\, your student participates for FREE (you will be refunded the price of the ticket).  Please choose a chaperone ticket (and use your student’s information on the ticket) below to sign up.  You must commit to the full 4 week program. We will need 3 chaperones to run this program.  \nScholarship Availability:  We want to provide the opportunity for as many students as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e.\, paystubs\, tax forms\, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information. \n\n\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy: \n\n\n\nThe Youth Sports Alliance does not issue refunds after the registration deadline. Refunds requested before the deadline will incur a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations due to medical reasons may be considered prior to the program start date\, with a $25 administrative fee applied. Programs run rain or shine\, and no refunds will be given due to weather.

SUMMARY:GO&P Jumpstop Academy - Basketball skills at Ogden Prep Academy
DESCRIPTION:Jumpstop Academy is designed to work on the fundamentals of basketball while at the same time ensuring players are having fun and being competitive.  Each week we focus on different skills by combining drills with competitions and scrimmaging. Players will be grouped according to age/ability level. This is a 4 week skills program only and will not involve teams or competitive games. This program will be held onsite at Ogden Prep Academy. \nDates: Wednesdays April 7\, 14\, 21\, 28 12;45-1:45 PM after school \nGrades: 1-6 \nCost: $60/$20 scholarship \nPlease wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle \nPartial Scholarship Ticket Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to begin a brand new program and team up again with Salt City Swords\, an organization dedicated to teaching fencing and archery. For this specific program\, discover the excitement of ARCHERY! This four week course teaches the fundamentals of safe and accurate archery. Students will learn proper range safety\, equipment use\, aiming techniques\, arrow release\, and target practice. The course is designed for beginners and provides opportunities to build confidence\, improve focus\, and develop accuracy through guided instruction and hands-on practice.
