DESCRIPTION:We are excited to partner with Soldier Hollow to offer a 2 day introduction to the Kicker and Gliders program. Transportation from JR Smith and Heber Valley elementary schools to Soldier Hollow and back is included.  \nThe Soldier Hollow Kickers and Gliders program is for youth ages 6-11 new to skiing or who are looking to improve their skills. Kickers and Gliders participants will learn the basics of cross-country skiing through exploring the trails\, playing games\, and doing drills on snow. This program is designed to help youth stay active in the outdoors and instill a love for the sport. All equipment is provided to participants. Registration covers equipment to ski\, trail passes\, and coaching. Participants will need to have warm weather clothing to stay warm during the Utah winter.  \nPlease fill out this waiver. Your child will not be able to participate until it is completed. \nDates: Tuesdays\, January 6 and 13 \nTimes: 3:00pm – 6:00pm (students will be at Soldier Hollow from 4:00pm – 5:30pm) \nLocation: Soldier Hollow Nordic Center \nCost: $25 (standard)\, $5 (scholarship) \nTransportation: This program includes transportation from JR Smith and Heber Valley elementary schools and back afterwards. \nThis program will happen rain or shine\, and there will be no refunds for bad weather. \nPartial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a one-day Woodward sports program for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out and Play Program (GO&P) at Daniels Canyon Elementary. \nDates: Tuesday\, September 23rd from 3:30 to 4:30pm \nLocation: Daniels Canyon Elementary playground \nThis special one-day session is designed to give kids the opportunity to “taste” the wheel sports and parkour programs available at Woodward (skateboards/scooters). \nStudents will need a helmet if they have one and if they have knee/elbow pads.
