SUMMARY:Introduction to Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:Dates – Sept 13\, 20\, 27 Oct 4 \nDoes your child want to learn more about the multi-sport of Triathlon? Triathlon teaches self discipline\, confidence and healthy lifestyles. \nThis 4 week session meets at the Basin Recreation Fieldhouse\, and is geared toward kids who know the basics of swimming\, biking and running but want to improve their skills and feel more confident with each discipline. Cycling will be on both paved and gravel paths\, so mountain bikes are preferred. Transporatation NOT Provided. \nTo participate\, your child must be able to: \n\nSwim 25 yards without water wings or a life jacket\nRide a bike without training wheels\nRun\n\nPlease note when agreeing to the terms and conditions you are agreeing to the following waivers. \nYSA & Basin Recreation Waiver \nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50\,000 annually but less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e.\, paystubs\, tax forms\, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
