SUMMARY:ACTIV8 Wasatch Mountain Biking at Dutch Hollow Fall 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance is excited to offer a four-week mountain biking program for 6th-12th graders as part of the ACTIV8 Program. \nDates: Mondays from 2:30 to 4:30pm on September 11\, 18\, 25 and October 2 \nThis program is for participants who are beginners on trails\, and not for beginners on bikes as students should already know how to ride a bike and may have ridden some trails. We have teamed up with Young Riders who will be providing the coaching staff. \nThe program covers beginner single track trails\, climbing\, descending\, obstacles and safety on the trails. \nTransportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at Dutch Hollow Trailhead. Dutch Hollow is a fee area. If you stay after dropping off your child you will need to pay the parking fee. This program will happen rain or shine\, and there will be no refunds for bad weather. \nRequired Equipment \n\nBike\nHelmet (required\, your child will not be allowed to ride without a helmet)\nShoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\nProtective eye wear (sunglasses are best)\nCycling gloves\n\nNEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship.
