DESCRIPTION:Mountain Biking for Ecker Hill/Silver Summit and Homeschoolers \nDates: September 11\, 19\, 25\, and October 2 \nTimes: 1:45-3:45 pm \n\nWe have teamed up with Basin Recreation to offer mountain biking programs for Beginner to Intermediate Riders. Every  rider will learn safety\, trail etiquette\, ascending\, descending\, obstacles and some tips on how to get to the top. This program leaves directly from the Ecker Hill school grounds and will happen rain or shine. \nIf you do not own a bike and would like to participate in this program please contact Heather Sims \nRequired equipment\n\n\nBike\nHelmet (compulsory your child will not be allowed to ride without one)\nShoes and Socks (no open-toe sandals)\nAthletic clothing\nProtective eye wear (sunglasses are best)\nCycling glove\n\nNew Partial Scholarship Available!\nWe want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. SUMMARY:ACTiV8 Art Class: Pushing Boundaries with Morgan McCue
DESCRIPTION:Creative expression is infinite and there are no boundaries.  There is no better way to illustrate that\, than by trying different forms of art from around the world and across history. From Gyotaku (traditional Japanese fish printing)\, to Pop Art\, students will explore their own creative expressions through the lens of four\, very different art styles. The class will allow students to try different techniques\, while learning about their historical context. At the end of the fourth and final class\, we will host a gallery show for friends and family. Students will be encouraged to give a brief presentation on one of their favorite pieces/processes. All that is needed is a swimsuit and towel.
