SUMMARY:GO&P Intro to Lacrosse at Midway Elementary
DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to team up with Wasatch Youth Lacrosse\, a program dedicated to teaching girls and boys the fast-paced and exciting sport of lacrosse\, and offer a four-week lacrosse program at Midway Elementary. \nDates: Mondays\, September 14\, 21\, 28 October 5 from 2:30-3:30 pm \nLocation: Midway Elementary Field \nCome join us for fun-filled Monday sessions of the sport that’s taking the West by storm! Whether your child is brand new to lacrosse or already developing their skills\, this class is a great way to learn\, grow\, and have fun. \nWhat We’ll Do:– Learn the basic rules of the game (Girls rules vs Boys rules taught separately)– Practice passing\, catching\, and ball handling– Play scrimmage games– More advanced players can sharpen skills for their preferred position \nWhat to Bring:– Water bottle– Lacrosse gear (if you have it – we will have loaner equipment available too!) \nDon’t miss this great opportunity to introduce your child to the thrill of lacrosse in a fun environment! \nTransportation: No transportation provided. \nChaperone: We are looking for one adult volunteer to chaperone for all 4 weeks of the program. Duties include\, assist with taking role and ensure all kids are accounted for during the session. If you are available\, register with your child under the Chaperone Ticket. *Background check will be required. \nScholarship Availability:  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50\,000 annually\, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120\,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family\, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e.\, paystubs\, tax forms\, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.

DESCRIPTION:The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to work with Game On! Sports 4 Girls to offer a four-week multi-sport program at Midway Elementary. This program is open to girls and boys in 1st-5th grades. \nDates: Mondays\, Oct 26\, Nov 2\, 9\, 16 from 2:30-3:30 pm \nLocation: Midway Elementary School \nJoin us for the Monday session of the trademark multi-sport class! A great way to expose and introduce your child to team sports! Explore and learn a different sport every week. We may cover basketball\, soccer\, tennis\, softball\, lacrosse\, volleyball\, and more in a FUN\, nurturing and positive environment! From our years dedicated to working with youth\, we have the unique games and expertise to help each of your children to grow as a person and an athlete. As always\, attention to teamwork\, sportsmanship\, self-esteem\, respect\, giving\, and goal setting are incorporated into our program as well. \nPlease come dressed ready to play – no sandals\, bare feet or boots allowed. \nChaperone: We are looking for one adult volunteer to chaperone for all 4 weeks of the program. Duties include\, assist with taking role and ensure all kids are accounted for during the session.
