DESCRIPTION:Experience the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class indoor facility including trampolines\, parkour\, skateboarding\, scooter and BMX riding. All abilities welcome. Students will choose Wheeled Sports (skateboarding and scooters) or Parkour/Acro (parkour\, acrobatics\, trampolines) as their focus. \nTransportation is provided from South Summit Elementary School with a volunteer chaperone. \nDates: Fri. March 6\, 13\, 27\, April 10 \nTime: 2:45-4:15pm (Students will depart SSES around 2:15pm and arrive back to the school around 4:45pm) \nAges: 1st-4th grade (we cannot accommodate kindergarteners) \nProgram Fee:  $185 (standard)\, $50 (scholarship)\, $50 (bus coordinators) \nThe Program Fee includes transportation and instruction. \nStudents will meet the volunteers after school in a specified area. Students then board a bus for transport to Woodward Park City where they will have a lesson with their instructor. Once the lesson is completed\, students are transported back to South Summit Elementary School where parents/guardians will pick them up. \nVolunteers: The entire program is parent supported and chaperoned\, so please do your best to assist! To make this program happen affordably we need parent volunteers. We need one volunteer to be the bus/program chaperone for all 4 weeks. Chaperones will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration. DESCRIPTION:The Get Out & Play Intro/Progression to skiing or snowboarding program will give kids the opportunity to learn and progress their skiing or snowboarding skills alongside their peers. This program is for those who are brand new to skiing/snowboarding or at a beginner/ beginner-intermediate level. This program is based on our unique partnership with Woodward. \nThis is a program for North Summit students 1st-4th grade. The program begins immediately after school with students gearing up with the help of their guardian and/or parent volunteers. Students will take YSA provided transportation to Woodward where they will have a two (2) hour lesson with their instructor. Once the lesson is over\, students will be brought back to the school to be picked up. \nDates: Mon. Feb. 23\, March 2\, 9\, 16 2026 \nTime:  2:45-4:45; Transportation will arrive around 2:00pm with an aim to be at Woodward around 2:45pm and return to the school around 5:15 pm. \nProgram Fee:  $185 \nThe program fee includes transportation\, lift ticket\, and instruction. \nRegistration Deadline: Registration will close on Jan. 30\, 2026 \nVolunteers Needed: \nOur programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Students will then board YSA transportation to Woodward where they will have a 2 hour ski or snowboard lesson with an instructor.  \nThis program is based on our unique partnership with Woodward. \nDates: Thursdays\, Feb. 12\, 19\, 26\, Mar. 5 \nProgram Time: 3:30-5:30 pm (at Woodward) \nProgram Fee: $185 \n*The Program Fee includes transportation\, lift tickets\, and instruction. \nTransportation: \nNorth Summit– Transportation will be provided if we get enough participants and a chaperone. Participants should already be able to turn and stop independently and are ready to gain more control\, consistency\, and confidence on the mountain. Lessons may include terrain park exposure. \nThis is not a beginner program. Beginners should register for the GO&P Wasatch Learn to Ski/Snowboard 2026 program. \nProgram Details \n\nDates: Mondays\, Jan. 12\, 26\, Feb 2\, 9; (no class on Jan. 19)\nTime: 3:00-6:30pm (Class runs from 4:00 – 6:00 pm)\nAge: 1st-5th grades\nVenue: Woodward Park City\nSkill Level: Lessons are designed for skiers and snowboarders already able to turn and stop independently.\nTransportation: Bus transportation is provided to and from Woodward Park City. DESCRIPTION:Registration closes on Sunday\, October 19th \nExperience the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class indoor facility including trampolines\, parkour\, skateboarding\, scooter and BMX riding. All abilities welcome. Students will choose Wheeled Sports (skateboarding and scooters) or Parkour/Acro (parkour\, acrobatics\, trampolines) as their focus. \nTransportation is provided from Old Mill and JR Smith elementary schools. \nDates: Monday\, Oct. 27\, Nov. 3\, 10\, 17 \nTime: 2:30- 5:30pm \nAges: 1st-5th grade (we cannot accommodate kindergarteners) \nProgram Fee:  $185 (standard)\, $50 (scholarship)\, $50 (bus coordinators) \nThe Program Fee includes transportation and instruction. \nStudents will meet the volunteers after school in a specified area. Students then board a bus for transport to Woodward Park City where they will have a lesson with their instructor. Once the lesson is completed\, students are transported back to JR Smith and Old Mill elementary schools where parents/guardians will pick them up. \nVolunteers: The entire program is parent supported and chaperoned\, so please do your best to assist! DESCRIPTION:Experience Woodward’s world-class facility and learn new skills on the trampolines and the parkour features with Woodward coaches.  All abilities welcome. \nTransportation is provided. DESCRIPTION:Experience all the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class indoor facility including trampolines\, parkour\, skateboarding\, scooter and BMX riding.  Students will choose Wheeled Sports (skateboarding and scooters) or Acro (parkour and trampolines). Students will receive some structured coaching and some free time to practice their new skills.  All abilities welcome. \nTransportation is provided. Buses will depart the school at 12:30 and arrive back at approximately 3:30pm. \nDates:  Fridays September 5\, 12\, 19\, 26 \nTimes: 1:30-3:00pm \nScholarships:  \n\nRegular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50\,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.\nPartial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50\,000 and $120\,000 annually. DESCRIPTION:Experience all the sports offered inside Woodward’s world-class facility including trampolines and parkour\, or skateboarding\, scooter and BMX riding.  Students can choose to participate in either acro (trampolines and parkour) or wheeled-sports (skateboarding\, scooter\, or BMX) with Woodward coaches.  All abilities welcome. \nVolunteers will be needed in order to provide transportation: A volunteer for Lead Chaperone will receive a sizable discount on one (1) child’s registration. Please select the lead chaperone ticket or contact jjohnson@ywsa.org with questions. This person will need to ride the bus each week. An additional bus chaperone may be needed to assist the lead each week if we have more than 20 students. We can offer a second discounted chaperone ticket if there are two people able to chaperone for all four sessions. \nThis program is for grades 1st-4th. \nDates: March 7\, 21\, 28\, April 11; 2:45-4:15 pm \nTransportation is provided. The bus will leave South Summit Elementary about 2:15 and arrive back at the school for pick up around 4:45pm. \nRegistration will close March 2\, 2025. \nScholarships:  \n\nScholarship ticket: This ticket is available for families earning less than $50\,000 annually or on free or reduced lunch program.
