Learn to Speedskate with Park City Speedskating!
Ready to experience the thrill of gliding across the ice at top speed? Join Park City Speedskating’s “Learn to Speedskate” program at the PCIA on March 28th, and April 4th and 11th.
This program is perfect for beginners of all ages and skill levels who want to learn the fundamentals of speed skating. Our experienced coaching staff will guide you through proper technique, safety, and basic skills to get you moving quickly and confidently on the ice.
Learn from the best! Our coaching team includes:
  • Nat Mills: 3-time Olympian and former 1000m US record holder.
  • Brian Boudreau: Multi-time age group National Champion and Masters age group World Champion/World Record holder.
  • Rob Kramer: Multi-time National Champion and former professional marathon skater in Europe.

Skates and helmets are supplied at the rink.
All participants must wear a helmet, gloves, long sleeved shirt, long pants and knee pads and shin pads are recommended.

Times: 1:30pm – 2:45pm (Time on ice, does not include transportation to and from school).

Location: Park City Ice Arena

Transportation is provided. Students from Silver Summit Academy and Telos Classical Academy may ride the bus from Trailside Elementary School. Students from Park City Day School may ride the bus from Jeremy Ranch Elementary School.

We are looking for a Program Coordinator for each of the schools. Volunteers who are the coordinator for all 3 weeks of the program will receive a significant discount on the program fees for 1 child registered in the program. Interested individuals please choose the chaperone ticket.

Partial Scholarships Available! We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If you earn less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you earn more than $50,000 annually but less than $120,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. Please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.

No refunds will be given once registration closes except under extenuating circumstances.
