GO&P Wasatch Intro to Lacrosse at Midway Elementary

The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to team up with Wasatch Youth Lacrosse, a program dedicated to teaching girls and boys the fast-paced and exciting sport of lacrosse, and offer a four-week lacrosse program at Midway Elementary.

Dates: Mondays, September 8, 15, 22, 29 from 2:30-3:30 pm

Location: Midway Elementary Field

Come join us for fun-filled Monday sessions of the sport that’s taking the West by storm! Whether your child is brand new to lacrosse or already developing their skills, this class is a great way to learn, grow, and have fun.

What We’ll Do:
– Learn the basic rules of the game (Girls rules vs Boys rules taught separately)
– Practice passing, catching, and ball handling
– Play scrimmage games
– More advanced players can sharpen skills for their preferred position

What to Bring:
– Water bottle
– Lacrosse gear (if you have it – we will have loaner equipment available too!)

Scholarship Availability:  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
