ACTiV8 Capturing Life: Photography Workshop

This 3-week program is taught by Jonás Wright, a professional photographer based in Park City with experience shooting events, portraits, and documentary work both locally and internationally. Students will explore a variety of photography techniques, including portraiture, documentary storytelling, and creative approaches to capturing compelling images with natural lighting. Jonás will share lessons from his travels and professional work, teaching students how to apply the fundamentals of photography and composition to bring their creative vision to life — no matter what camera they use. Through hands-on projects and exercises, students will learn how to tell stories, capture dynamic moments, and develop their own photographic style.
Cameras will be provided for this program but if you have your own SLR camera you are welcome to use it.
Dates: November 21, December 5, and December 12
