Alpine Skiing at Deer Valley – Murray SD
This Skiing program in partnership with Ski Utah at Deer Valley Resort, gives youth the opportunity to begin or continue to learn and develop skiing skills alongside their peers. Students must be at least 7 years old to participate. This program is for students in the 3rd-6th grade in the Murray School District.
Grades: 3-6th
Cost: $185 standard/$50 scholarship/$165 Sibling
Dates: Wednesdays January 13, 20, 27, and February 3
Time: 2 – 4:00 PM on snow (Pickup will be around 12:30 PM and drop off close to 5:30 PM)
Venue: Deer Valley – Please note this is a skiing program only. Students who want to snowboard, will need to register for the Snowbird program.
Transportation is provided for this program from a central location. Pickup/Drop off will be at the PARK next to Parkside Elementary School in the Murray School District
Scholarships: Deadline is November 18th
- Regular scholarship ticket price is available for students with families earning less than $50,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child.
- Partial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50,000 and $120,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.
- *Equipment is provided only for those on FULL scholarship and tickets must be purchased by Nov 18th.
Chaperones:
We will need two parent chaperones each week to help with our program. You must be willing to attend all 4 weeks of the program, have a background check and complete our volunteer agreement. In return, your student will participate in the program for FREE! Please choose a chaperone ticket below for your student (do not buy a ticket for an adult). Lift tickets for chaperones are not guaranteed and given at discretion of the resort. Chaperones help with check in, riding the bus, and serving as a point of contact for the resort in case of emergencies.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- We will ski regardless of the weather, so no refunds will be given for bad weather, or once the program begins.

Illness: Please do not send your child to the program if they are home from school due to illness, were sent home or picked up early from school because they were not feeling well, or are experiencing symptoms of illness on the day of the program. If your child arrives at the program and tells their instructor they are not feeling well or begins exhibiting symptoms of illness, they will not be able to participate that day. You will be contacted and asked to pick up your child.
