Available to Register 10/12 @ 7am: ACTIV8 Wasatch Ski/Snowboard Beginner and Progression at Woodward 2027
Learn to ski or snowboard or progress skills on the slopes of Woodward. The ACTiV8 Alpine Skiing/Snowboarding program gives kids the opportunity to learn and progress alongside their peers and will help refine current skills and introduce students to new skills. This registration is for students in Wasatch County.
Students will meet parent volunteers after school in a specified area where the students will get ready for the session (get snow clothes and gear on). Students will then board YSA transportation to Woodward where they will have a 2 hour ski or snowboard lesson with an instructor.Â
Dates: Thursdays 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4 2027
Program Time: 2:30-6pm (3:30-5:30 pm at Woodward)
Program Fee: $185
*The Program Fee includes transportation, lift tickets, and instruction.
Transportation: Transportation will be provided, we will plan to leave the school around 2:50 and will return to the school around 6/6:15pm.
Volunteers Needed:
Our programs rely on parent volunteers to help chaperone each program. Program Chaperone tickets are available at a reduced cost. Please purchase a chaperone ticket for your child at registration. As a Program Chaperone, you must be able to attend the full session of the program, pass a background check and complete the volunteer packet. Required Equipment/Gear: Skis/snowboard and boots, helmet, googles, water-proof gloves or mittens, and proper snow clothing. Please secure rentals as soon as possible. Please contact us if you are having difficulty finding rentals/a rental shop.  Â

Scholarships:Â
- Regular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50,000 annually. Just select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child. Scholarship tickets with equipment will close Nov. 17, 2026. If you need a scholarship ticket after the 17th, please contact us.Â
- Partial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50,000 and $120,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- We will ski regardless of the weather, and no refunds will be available for bad weather.
- Equipment is not provided (except with full scholarship tickets). Please secure rentals by early December if needed.Â
