ACTiV8 Glendale – Fencing with Salt City Swords
The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited for this brand new program opportunity and to team up with Salt City Swords, an organization dedicated to teaching fencing and swordsmanship.
Dates : Mondays, November 3, 10, 17, 24 2:45-4:15 (includes travel time)
Location : Salt City Swords – transportation will be provided
Discover the excitement of fencing, one of the fastest and oldest sports in the Olympics! This four week course will cover the basics of modern-day sword fighting, including footwork, blade work, rules, etiquette and basic tactics. Students will develop coordination, confidence, speed, and agility while discovering the intricacies of this fascinating sport under the guidance of expert instructors.
What to Bring:
– Water bottle, athletic clothing and footwear

Scholarship Availability: We want to provide the opportunity for as many students as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship.
