ACTIV8 Wasatch Cooking Class – Think Globally, Eat Locally at Rocky Mountain Middle School sponsored by Kodiak

The Youth Sports Alliance is excited to offer this Think Globally, Eat Locally cooking program at Rocky Mountain Middle School with EATS and Summit Community Gardens.

Location: Rocky Mountain Middle School

Want to try food from around the world while gaining cooking skills? Embark on a culinary journey with us as we travel the world, exploring new foods and flavors. We will source local ingredients to prepare recipes with international roots in this interactive, fun class. Students will gain hands-on cooking skills, learn about local produce as we incorporate it into international dishes, and enjoy the delicious meals they prepare.

NEW! Partial Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
