ACTIV8 Wasatch Mountain Biking – Fall 2024

$20.00 – $60.00The Youth Sports Alliance is excited to offer a four-week mountain biking program for middle and high school students as part of the ACTIV8 Program.
Dates: Mondays from 2:30 to 4:30pm on Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30
Location: Jordanelle Ridge Trail System (often referred to as Coyote) at UVU, 3111 College Way, Heber City
This program is for participants who are beginners on trails, and not for beginners on bikes as students should already know how to ride a bike and may have ridden some trails. We have teamed up with Young Riders who will be providing the coaching staff.
The program covers beginner single track trails, climbing, descending, obstacles and safety on the trails.
Transportation is not provided. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at the Jordanelle Ridge Trail System at UVU. This program will happen rain or shine, and there will be no refunds for bad weather.
Required Equipment
- Bike
- Helmet (required, your child will not be allowed to ride without a helmet)
- Shoes and socks (no open-toe sandals)
- Athletic clothing
- Protective eye wear (sunglasses are best)
- Cycling gloves

Scholarship Availability. Â We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you will qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
