GO&P Into to Breaking (Breakdancing) at JR Smith

$15.00 – $50.00The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a 4-week intro to breaking (breakdancing) program with Breakin Circles for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out & Play Program.
Dates: Mondays from 2:30 to 3:30pm on Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 11, 18
Location: JR Smith Elementary School
Students will learn the basics of breaking, including; floor work, top rock, and freezes. Our focus will be on providing a fun safe environment where kids feel confident as they learn both the movement and history of breaking. No dance experience needed.
Transportation: A bus will be available to take students living in the Todd Hollow/Deer Mountain area home, with a stop at the Todd Hollow Apartments.

Scholarship Availability: We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually, and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
