GO&P Intro to Breaking (Breakdancing) at Midway Elementary

The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a 4-week intro to breaking (breakdancing) program with Breakin Circles for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out & Play Program.
Dates: Mondays from 2:30 to 3:30pm on November 30, December 7, 14
Location: Midway Elementary School
Students will learn the basics of breaking, including; floor work, top rock, and freezes. Our focus will be on providing a fun safe environment where kids feel confident as they learn both the movement and history of breaking. No dance experience needed.
Scholarship Availability: We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually, and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
Chaperone: We are looking for one adult volunteer to chaperone for all 4 weeks of the program. Duties include, assist with taking role and ensure all kids are accounted for during the session. If you are available, register with your child under the Chaperone ticket. *Background check will be required.
