Program: Get Out & Play (GO&P) Mountain Biking

Description:
Join us for four exciting, skill-building sessions designed for students in grades 3–5 and middle schoolers from Soldier Hollow. Whether your child is brand new to mountain biking or already honing their skills, this program offers: introduction to basic biking concepts, safety practices and trail etiquette, skill development through guided riding and fun games, a supportive, active group environment.

What to Bring:

• Bike 

• Helmet 

• Water bottle

• Closed-toe shoes 

• (Optional) gloves, glasses, sun protection, and a snack

Volunteers: Our programs depend on volunteers to keep them running smoothly and affordably. For our mountain biking programs we need volunteers to ride as sweeps each week to ride at the back of the group. All volunteers must pass a background check. Scholarship Availability.  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you will qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
