Come out and try stand up paddle boarding with Wasatch Whitewater guide on Jordanelle Reservoir! This introductory session is geared towards understanding the basics of standup paddleboarding. A good foundation of skills and knowledge of equipment will help to set you up correctly for a successful paddling career. This class is an introduction to paddling your SUP and you will learn paddling strokes and board control, as well as how to keep yourself upright using bracing techniques and your options if you find yourself off of the board.  Paddleboards, paddles, helmets and lifejackets will be provided.  You will need to wear a swimsuit, and bring water, a snack, sunscreen and shoes or sandals that will stay on in the water. Designed for kids ages 12 and up.
