Kids MMA with Impact Martial Arts at Heber Valley Elementary

The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to offer a three-week kids MMA program with Impact Martial Arts for 1st-5th graders as part of the Get Out & Play Program.

Dates: Mondays, Oct 26, Nov 2, 9, 16

Location: Heber Valley Elementary School

Kids MMA With Impact Martial Arts: Off of screens and on the mats with focus! Impact Martial Arts is where children learn effective mixed martial arts technique, with all of the safety, respect, character development, and fun of traditional martial arts! In this program, we will be taking the best foundational basics from different disciplines (like Karate, American and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Taekwondo, Wrestling, Boxing and Muay Thai) and blending them together for the ULTIMATE bully-proof confidence, time tested self-defense, and safe sport. At Impact Martial Arts, we strive to make a forever impact in the lives of your children and the communities they will go on to shape!

Chaperone: We are looking for one adult volunteer to chaperone for all 4 weeks of the program. Duties include, assist with taking role and ensure all kids are accounted for during the session. If you are available, register with your child under the Chaperone Movie Acting ticket. *Background check will be required.

Scholarship Availability:  We want to provide the opportunity for as many kids as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family, please complete the Partial Scholarship Application linked here. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
