Monticello Academy Alpine Ski and Snowboard at Park City Mountain Village 2027
This Skiing program in partnership with Ski Utah at Park City Mountain Resort gives youth the opportunity to begin or continue to learn and develop skiing skills alongside their peers. The program is based on the unique partnerships we have built with our local resorts, and utilizes their talented ski instructors. This program is for students in the 4th grade at Monticello Academy – West Valley campus only.Â
Dates: Mondays Jan 11, 25, Feb 1, 8
Time: 12:30-2:30 (Students will be picked up at 11:30 AM and dropped back off at Monticello around 3:30 PM) Please note this is during instruction time and students will be responsible for missed work and be in good standing with their academics, behavior, and citizenship.
Venue: Park City Mountain Village
Program Fee: $185 The Program Fee includes lift tickets, instruction, rentals and transportation. Scholarship tickets are available at a reduced price for those students on Free/Reduced lunch for $50.Â
Scholarships: Deadline November 18
- Regular scholarships are available for students with families earning less than $50,000 annually on free/reduced lunch. Please select a Scholarship ticket below to complete the registration process for your child. You do not need to apply for a scholarship. This ticket is a reduced price from the standard ticket and includes equipment.
- Partial Scholarships are now also available for families earning between $50,000 and $120,000 annually. To apply for a Partial Scholarship, please complete the application linked here to help us understand your financial challenges.
Chaperones:
We do need two parent chaperones each week to help with our program. You must be willing to attend all 4 weeks of the program, have a background check and complete our volunteer agreement. In return, your student will participate in the program for FREE! Please choose a chaperone ticket below for your student (do not buy a ticket for an adult). Lift tickets for chaperones are not guaranteed and given at discretion of the resort. Chaperones help with check in, riding the bus, and serving as a point of contact for the resort in case of emergencies.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- We will ski regardless of the weather, so no refunds will be given for bad weather, or once the program begins.

Illness: Please do not send your child to the program if they are home from school due to illness, were sent home or picked up early from school because they were not feeling well, or are experiencing symptoms of illness on the day of the program. If your child arrives at the program and tells their instructor they are not feeling well or begins exhibiting symptoms of illness, they will not be able to participate that day. You will be contacted and asked to pick up your child.
