ACTiV8- Intro to Photography- Wallace Stegner SLC
The Youth Sports Alliance (YSA) is excited to begin a brand new program and partner with Sara Boulter Photography . In this fun, hands-on three-week photography class, students will learn how to take photos that stand out! We’ll explore the basics of composition, lighting, storytelling, and creative techniques that make everyday photos look amazing. Whether they’re using a camera or a smartphone, students will gain practical skills, complete fun photo challenges, and build confidence behind the lens.  Time: 3:30-4:30 PM
Location :Â Held onsite afterschool at Wallace Stegner SLC campus
Cost: $50 standard ticket/$20 scholarship ticket (see below)
What to Bring:
– Water bottle, a cellphone with a camera (if you have one), a camera (if you have one)
We have 8 Canon Cameras that may be used for this program. If you have a camera and would like to use your own, please bring it. Other lessons will include taking photos with a cell phone. Our cell phone policy will still be place and we will only utilize the camera function during the program.
Scholarship Availability: We want to provide the opportunity for as many students as possible to participate in our programs. If your child qualifies for the free and reduced lunch program and/or your family earns less than $50,000 annually, please select a Scholarship ticket to complete your registration. If you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch but earn less than $120,000 annually and the registration fee is a burden for your family, you may qualify for a partial scholarship. The information you choose to share with us is confidential and will be used only for purposes of determining your eligibility for a partial scholarship. You may be asked to provide documentation (i.e., paystubs, tax forms, or W-2s) to confirm your income and/or other financial information.
